Maisons Rares is delighted to offer for rent this fabulous waterfront house, located in Southern Corsica at Cala d’Orzu, nestled in a wild and secluded bay.
The entire area is protected as part of the **Natura 2000** network.
After following a long, well-maintained track winding through the Corsican maquis, you arrive at this wonderfully private, unspoilt and authentic place. In front of the house lies the crystal-clear turquoise sea. All around, hundreds of hectares of untouched Mediterranean landscape and beautiful beaches. **A truly rare place.**
The house has **five bedrooms upstairs**, each with two or three large windows offering spectacular views over the sea, rocks and surrounding maquis.
On the garden level, the open-plan kitchen and living room with fireplace feature **five enormous floor-to-ceiling windows**, all facing south, east or west, overlooking the sea and rocks.
All the terraces are on one level and wind naturally around the house, following the principles of organic architecture, weaving between trees, rocks and lawns and adding to the poetry of the setting.
There are **two outdoor dining areas**, allowing you to have lunch or dinner overlooking either the cove or the rocky coastline. Outdoor lighting can be adjusted to create the perfect atmosphere, whether for an intimate dinner for two or a lively dinner for twenty.
Sun loungers are placed throughout the terraces and grounds. You can also dine by the coves, among the rocks, in the garden or on the large lawn. Everything is provided to make your stay as easy as possible, including a barbecue. **Open fires are strictly forbidden anywhere on the property.** Large parasols provide plenty of shade during the hottest hours of the day.
In the garden, around 20 metres from the house, there is a small stone outbuilding completely integrated into the maquis. It provides additional storage and includes a **second freezer, an additional refrigerator and a pantry**.
It is also ideal for storing beach equipment, water-skiing gear, fishing equipment and sports equipment. The outbuilding also has a bathroom and toilet.
