Come and sleep in the trees in Alaska! This cabin is a free standing treehouse (up in the trees but not attached to the trees). It has a kitchenette area and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower). It offers a king size bed on the 2nd floor. There is also Queen Size Bean Bag Chair that has a bed that comes out and rests on the floor. The Treehouse is accessible by a series of ramps, bridges and platforms. There is also a slide exit from inside the Treehouse to one of the lower platforms for those adventurous enough to give it a try. The access to the Treehouse does not include stairs but the interior of the Treehouse does have stairs. Those with mobility issues may find it difficult to get around. One of the platforms has a barbecue grill. There is also a fire pit for the exclusive use of our Treehouse guests. We are family friendly and love kids of all ages.

We had an exceptional one night stay in the treehouse. Beautiful property and the welcome gift basket was very nice. They had a fire going for us when we arrived that we enjoyed spending time around.
My husband and I stayed here while we were in town for our elopement and we had an incredible time. The house is such a cool space and the hosts were extremely kind. Everything was very clean and we were very happy with the whole experience!
After a week aboard a cruise ship, getting to escape to this little oasis in our favorite place on Earth was more than we could have ever asked for! The hosts were amazing and clearly go above and beyond in making their guests comfortable and that they won’t go hungry! We loved our night at The Eagle’s Nest and would absolutely come back!
We can’t rave enough about this tree house!! We were a little skeptical about a “tree house” but it’s what our granddaughter wanted to stay in so we decided to have some fun! As we pulled up the tree house it was so much more amazing in person…we were greeted by John and he told us a bit about it…and started a fire for us to enjoy. After walking up the platforms and over the bridge you enter into the first floor… and that’s where you’ll find the door for the slide… our granddaughter loved using this every time we left! (Shes17) You can tell they put a lot of thought into the decor and the set up of a small space… the beds were so cozy and comfortable and the soaps in the bathroom were just wonderful…while we enjoyed the fire John brought out the makings for s’mores and told us more about the area and the property we enjoyed talking with him. The kitchen was well stocked with yummy Alaska snacks and there were plenty of breakfast foods they provided but Cheri has a talent for baking and her blueberry muffins were amazing!!! Such a sweet touch for their guest…we were sorry we weren’t able to stay longer. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Fantastic! We LOVED the treehouse and will definitely stay there again! Every detail was planned out perfectly. It was so peaceful, clean, and cozy. The owners are on site and awesome people!! They greeted us but gave us our privacy. They stocked the kitchenette with fabulous goodies - way more than I have ever seen in a rental. The property is very well kept and has a beautiful fire pit area. All the way around it was the best place I have ever rented and will definitely be staying there again.
I brought my daughters to the Eagle's Next treehouse and we all loved this house! This may be our favorite vacation rental ever, and staying here felt like a retreat and adventure at the same time. The slide and wooden bridge entrance were so much fun! Very cozy space, with just what you need to be comfortable and such a peaceful location. The thoughtful amenities and snacks were locally sourced and really added to our Alaskan visit. The owners were friendly and went above and beyond to communicate with us and accommodate our travel plans. We plan to return next summer and the girls are already counting down the days!
We had a blast! We stayed here on route to other adventures, but staying here was an adventure in itself! It had everything we needed and way more. The hosts were really kind and very generous! We came straight from the airport and had very little food, but they basically fed us dinner and breakfast plus snacks in between! They even built a fire for us!
Imagine arriving at a magical treehouse light up and surrounded by trees, absolutely breathtaking. John & Cheri went above and beyond to make us feel so welcomed. They had a fire going so we could enjoy s'mores, which were individually packaged! 😍 Then you enter a beautifully built three story treehouse to pleasantly find all sorts of goodies and amenities. All of the special touches make you feel like you're at home and will never want to leave. We truly enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, and watching the ducks swim in the little pond. A cat named Ashes steals your heart, he is the coolest cat ever. The slide and swings are absolutely adorable and so much fun. Star gazing is perfect on the top floor with 360 degree views. One night is not long enough! I would recommend staying several days!
