Walking distance to beaches and downtown

The “Retro Retreat” is a cozy three bedroom mobile home located one block from Woodland Park Campground and the shores of Lake Superior. Downtown restaurants, shops, sandy west bay beach and playground are 4 blocks away. Very large yard with fire pit(wood available to purchase from many locations), charcoal grill(you provide charcoal), patio table and chairs are there for your use. Plenty of parking for your toys. We are local to assist with any questions. Enjoy your stay!!

Roomy, clean, bed was extremely comfortable! I know it doesn’t look like much from the front yard, but the inside was charming and met my needs very well. Very close to everywhere I needed to go.

The property was well kept and the home extremely well preserved. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Walt and Chris are gracious and patient hosts. Handy access to beach and stores.

Extended Family vacation

We chose this home for the location and was not disappointed!Very well equipped home with all the things you would need! By far the BEST towels ever had at a VRBO! Very clean home and the owners communicated well with us!

Definitely the place to stay

It was everything as described and more. The texting, arrival, accommodations, comfort were all very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this location, especially if you are traveling with your fur baby. The kitchen was better stocked than my own with accessories and appliances. The a/c worked well, the noise was extremely minimal on the street corner. Thank you Walk and Christine for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Lake Superior from a wonderful small town!

Great weekend vacation

Love the retro retreat Was clean and ready for us. Was well stocked with the little things coffee filter, some spices, cooking spray made the stay easier. Great location for us to enjoy Lake Superior and Pictured Rocks
