We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your thoughtful review. We hope you'll stay again.
This was a great spot. Michelle was really easy to communicate with, the house was clean, easy to access and very close to everything Wilsonville had to offer. We were in town for a wedding and it provided the perfect home away from home for our family.
It's also super close to parks, walking trails, etc.
If you're looking for a house that feels like home. This is the spot.

Peaceful, Well-Equipped Stay in a Lovely Neighborhood
Booking was easy, and Michelle was very responsive to my questions about the listing and community amenities.I especially appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was—it made it simple to prepare both dinner and breakfast. The nearby grocery store made stocking up on essentials quick and convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, with a peaceful, relaxing vibe. I especially enjoyed bird-watching from the backyard patio while sipping my morning coffee or winding down with a glass of wine in the evening.Would absolutely stay again—10/10!

We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again soon.
We stayed two nights in the beautiful Wilsonville during our road trip. This house is in an excellent quiet residential neighborhood and is very clean and family friendly. We never got time to turn on the TV (and thankful for that) but the kitchen was very useful and we loved our stay. The host was also extremely accommodating of our request and was prompt in her reply. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here in our next Portland trip!

We were in town for our nephew’s wedding. The house was everything as advertised. The neighborhood was a bonus with access to walking trails and parks. The back garden of the house was private, comfortable and relaxing. Loved watching the birds and wildlife. Would definitely book again.

Our stay was great. We did have a small glitch with property not being cleaned before we got there. But the manager took care of everything right away, so it was great.
The house was like the photos posted. It was very spacious and clean. Extremely well stocked. The owners thought of everything to make sure we were without need.
Very warm and cozy feeling home. I have no complaints. Communication was good with host and there were instructions posted throughout to help ease settling in.

Thank you for staying with us. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
We were in Wilsonville to attend my son's wedding. The house was as described and we loved that they had the staples in the kitchen. Charlotte was a gem when I called her and I appreciate how nice she was to me. Overall, this was a great house and if we go back to Wilsonville we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
This is not a house someone bought for a VRBO rental. It is a comfortable and welcoming home. We stayed here for our daughters wedding and we had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. We cooked and played games in between the wedding festivities. It was the perfect house to be in with family while being away from our own. Thank you Michelle and Tom for perfect stay.

House fit our needs very well. The owner was easy to deal with. Very well appointed.

About the host
Hosted by Michelle and Tom and Charlotte
Michelle grew up in Ontario, Canada, and NJ and Tom is from The Palouse area of Washington. We have lived in Wilsonville for over 30 years and absolutely love it. Michelle volunteered on our neighborhood HOA, Wilsonville's Parks Board, Development Review Board, and was elected to City Council. Tom and Michelle both volunteered with US Sailing and various youth sailing organizations.
We love Wilsonville and hope you will too.
Why they chose this property
After moving from NYC I (Michelle) thought Seattle was the smallest city I could ever live in and certainly never pictured myself living in a suburb of Portland, OR. But...the love of my life, Tom lived in Wilsonville and it didn't take long for Wilsonville to capture my heart too. Now I can't imagine living anywhere else. It's not like most suburbs and our home isn't like most suburban homes. Our home is in a nice neighborhood with a large yard that backs up to a park on one side, green space in the back, and friendly neighbors with privacy bamboo planted on the other giving us a lovely, private yard. We especially love that we can walk to the local pub (McMenamins), our favorite breakfast spot (I Hop). coffee shop (Starbucks near Sonic) and the grocery store (Fred Meyer or Safeway). They are all about 1 mile away. Even closer we have the Graham Oaks Nature Area, and lovely wooded Tranquil Park is right behind our house. Wilsonville is well-planned, and beautiful and all the cultural and recreational activities we love are just a short drive away. Please note the "Explore the area" section of the listing is AI generated and incorrect.
What makes this property unique
I love watching the birds while I'm eating breakfast at my kitchen table. We get Hummingbirds, Steller Blue Jays, Goldfinches, Acorn, Downy and other Woodpeckers and Flickers, Varied Thrush, Evening Grosbeaks, Towhees, Mountain Chickadees, Nuthatches, lovely red House Finches, Mourning Doves, and a bunch of others I don't know. We even had a pair of neighborhood wild turkeys but I haven't seen them in a while. I've had an ongoing battle with the squirrels who have been raiding my bird feeders but we have come to a truce. I feed them peanuts (unsalted only) occasionally and they stay out of my bird feeders. It helps that I changed all the hangers to fishing line they haven't figured out how to defeat yet. It's fun watching their acrobatics as they try. I also loved raising my daughter in this house. It's easy to child-proof the downstairs and the huge backyard kept her busy. We have lots of edible plants (full disclosure...not everything in our yard is edible so if you have small children keep an eye on them. As of this post we do not have anything I know to be deadly) We do have kiwi, grapes, strawberries, blueberries (just a few), raspberries (also just a few), culinary herbs...Bay leaves, rosemary, thyme, mint, and chives. Some years I plant parsley and cilantro too and there are tons of blackberries behind our fence.
