Totally renovated with new 1300 sqft open floor plan.

3 Private bedrooms with 2 Queen beds, 2 Full sized bed and 2 airbeds can be added upon request. Easy Parking single lane driveway by house.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and certain furry friends.

Even though we have instant booking on we would ask guests to please INQUIRE FIRST before booking, especially if you are interested in hosting an event or bringing any pets.

Please note there are 2 exterior outside cameras. One for the front and back entrances. They may be disconnected for long term guests and certain other situations with host permission.

Great house, clean and tidy, cozy and with an easy to operate gas fireplace for cold winter nights. Very dog friendly, good neighborhood for walking in and very close to numerous eateries and shopping. Owner very responsive, house tastefully decorated. Highly Recommended.

Wonderful place to stay! We loved sitting on the front porch each morning on this quiet street. My father has limited mobility. We were provided ramps, which made the access so easy into the home and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom with shower was perfect for him.

Decker Reunion

Peter was very responsive leading up to and during out stay. The house was perfect for 6 adults (3 couples) and our smallish dog. Everything was just as described, clean with plenty of towels. Area was safe and walkable to eateries. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect almost describes this location

Beautiful home with many upgrades. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, pharmacy's and other needed locations. Peter , the host is amazing and communication is immediate. Second stay here, would not stay anywhere else in Albany / SUNY area.

Excellent vacation home

My husband, myself and our dog stayed a month at this house. Every possible detail has been thought of by the owner and his wife. Comfortable beds, bedding, sofas, etc. Nice appliances. Beautiful front porch and back patio. Can’t wait to go back.

Cutest Little House in a Great Neighborhood

The house is totally charming & well done inside. Many cute little touches, and you can tell there is a lot of care about how it has been updated. Lots of little things we appreciated: dimmable lights, cool tv/surround sound setup, outlets EVERYWHERE, towel warmers, and a cozy little porch. Very clean & tidy, the host was super communicative & kind. The area has a ton of restaurants within walking distance, even with little kiddos. Albany was kind of a random stop on a roadtrip for us but we loved it & when we come back we will be staying here again.

Perfect for our needs

Had a long weekend planned to visit our daughter who goes to college in the Capital district. This house checked every box for us and had every amenity necessary. On top of that, the beds and couches were comfortable and the house was perfectly located for us to get anywhere we needed quickly. 5 stars all the way

Wonderful Experience

I can't say enough good things about our experience during our recent trip to Peter's home. The property is beautiful and well maintained with modern appliances and electronics. The furniture is comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The location, just across the road from SUNY Albany and proximate to shopping and restaurants, was excellent, and allowed us to host some friends from the area for meals. The house is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood.During our stay, a snowstorm hit and by the time we walked out the door in the morning, the grounds were already snow blown and Peter even cleared off our car! Just an excellent experience all around and I would strongly consider staying here again on a future trip.

Home away from home

Top notch property! All updated lighting and amenities. Clean home and responsive host! Felt like home and made our stay so great! It was wonderful to have as a gathering space for friends and family to get ready for the event and relax afterwards. Beats a hotel any day! So grateful to Peter for the little touches that meant a lot!

Great home away from home

Our group of 3 adults were in Albany for an EMS convention. Peter, the host was very accommodating and communicated both before and during the stay. The house and property are beautiful, clean, well appointed, quiet. The bedrooms were very spacious and quiet and the beds were comfortable. If anybody is looking for a beautiful house to rent, I would highly recommend this property and Peter!

Great Stay in Albany, NY

We enjoyed our stay with Peter. He was a gracious host. The house was as pictured and had everything we needed. The house is located near SUNY Albany with lots of shops, restaurants and amenities within walking distance of the house. We would return for another stay.

Family vacation in Albany worked out great

Property owner Peter could not have been more helpful. Anything we needed, from wheelchair ramp to a stick golf butter, he was there. Great house, comfy beds and excellent kitchen. Patio & grill were a nice bonus.

This home is LOVELY! It is one of the best we have ever stayed in.

The owners have put so many wonderful touches in their renovation of this charming home. They have thought of everything! Having two full baths was perfect for our family of 5 to get ready for a wedding. The kitchen is super cute with a great range, top end refrigerator and a wet bar/coffee station. They know how to make a cozy bed! The porches, front and back are perfect for reading a newspaper with your morning coffee, or playing with your puppy in the backyard. It was just right! Better than we expected :)

This was a wonderful house to stay for the weekend. All of the appliances and rooms were nicely renovated and the outdoor area was great to relax. Peter does an amazing job to make sure your stay is comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

The Perfect Easter Weekend

This was our first time using Vrbo, and we couldn't have asked for a better first impression. Peter was a gracious host, who responded promptly- from my initial inquiries about renting, to questions concerning check-out. Traveling as a family of five is always a challenge, so having a home to stay in with room to stretch and two full bathrooms made our visit to NY a dream. We lucked out with beautiful weather, so we took advantage of walking to coffee shops, U Albany, and declicious restaurants for take out. Nature trails and and State Parks were a quick drive up the road, making for an outdoorsy weekend, with comfy beds to come home to. With two children studying in NY, we definitely hope to return.

Why they chose this property

I found this home for sale one day when looking for a short cut home to Russell road from the old the Maggie's bar and restaurant (now ted's fish fry). The house needed a lot of work but instantly caught my imagination from when i first saw it with its classic bungalow design, beautiful backyard and giant pine trees.

What makes this property unique

For such a super conveniently located home in Albany this home really tuff to beat for it's big yard, nice surroundings and view. The narrow street in the front and stop sign keep the cars going by slow and give a charming feel to the area.
