In the private, gated community of Playacar Phase II, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, stands Villa Perla Blanca, a unique vacation villa featuring the ultimate in refinement: stunning nine-feet domed ceilings, marble floors, natural stone counters, and outstanding handcrafted mahogany carpentry. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the house normally accommodates eight persons but two sofa beds raise the occupancy to ten.

Upon entering Villa Perla Blanca, you will be awed by the sight of a 17-feet window across the first living room area, leading directly to a patio and the lovely garden. The ground level also harbors one master bedroom, two guest rooms and a laundry room. Each room has a full bathroom and opens onto a private balcony. Furthermore, the elegant master bedroom includes stained glass French doors and a luxurious standing tub.

An open-plan dining and living area with complete entertainment center occupies most of the second level. The fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor terrace are accessible from the dining area, which seats eight persons. A staircase leads to a rooftop terrace. Across the gallery overlooking the ground level living room, a second master bedroom includes amenities similar to the one downstairs.

Gorgeous home, amazing location

We had a wonderful vacation at La Villa la Perla Blanca! We had four couples and a toddler and it was the perfect set up. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the house was, and every couple was so impressed to have their own on-suite bathroom. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere, and felt totally safe and comfortable in the gated community. We will definitely rent this property again!

2 Family Getaway

Fantastic property, spacious and clean. Very modern with excellent accommodations for 8 people - 4 adults and 4 teens. Pool and backyard area Was a great escape from the heat. Walks into town were 5 minutes with plenty of ahops, restaurants and bars. The beach was a 5 min walk to warm and sandy waters. Best meal of the trip was prepared for us by Sergio’s mother - it was amazing! Would definitely book it again

Family Getaway

Went with our 3 kids and spouses ages 53 to 61. We are 81 and 83. The house was everything we expected. The only negative was a construction project on one side of the house, but it was not a big problem. Overall enjoyed our stay and can recommend.to others.

Beautiful villa, great location!

The villa was as pictured and ideal for our group of 4 couples. It’s newly renovated and truly fantastic! We enjoyed lounging in the beautiful backyard & in the pool most days - amazing set up!! Comfortable beds, ensuites in every bedroom and a well stocked kitchen. Sergio was always available and very helpful/friendly when questions arose. Prior to our stay I had many questions for Leo and he was also very helpful and communicative . Location is great, in a gated community and a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we would return in a heartbeat!

Amazing. One of the best ever

The property is EVEN BETTER than the pictures made me think it would be. We didn’t use the roof much because it’s a bit hot and exposed, but man, the pool area, the balcony and the house itself are STELLAR. And the property manager rocks. Super responsive. An absolute must: ask for his mom to cook for you and do both a dinner and a breakfast. Reasonable price, excellent quality, large quantity, and super convenient on a late beach day and the day you arrive. Also, the driver you can use to get to and from the airport can be a great resource for a cenotes, and Tulum ruins visit, complete with a great lunch recommendation. Would love to stay again someday!! We miss it already and we just left!

Fabulous Playacar House!

We loved our time at Giorgio & Leo’s gorgeous home! The house is spacious and very well equipped. Plenty of different gathering places inside and out. Sergio was quick to answer any questions and provide recommendations for the best tacos and where to find Sol beer in bottles. Paola kept the house amazingly clean and organized. And Sergio’s mom made two absolutely delicious dinners that we are still talking about. The house is within a 5 minute walk to the beach and conveniently located within walking distance to 5th Avenue, Walmart, grocery stores and restaurants. Will definitely be back!

Spring break trip

The house was beautiful and furnished with everything we needed to cook. Having the paper towel, toilet paper, beach towels, chairs, and bathroom towels supplied was a definite plus. They provided a purified drinking water tap and the freezer was connected to make ice cubes with that same water. There was ample outdoor seating and the pool was great. Unfortunately, the grill did not light so we could not use it. Sergio and the staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived at the property and very attentive. We highly recommend having Sergio’s mother make you an authentic Mexican meal; It was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you for making our Spring Break Trip wonderful!

Construction

There is a building getting constructed next door, noise from 7am to late afternoon from Monday to Saturday, right in the backyard. Location is great, everything else is great, but no compensation from the owner for the constant noise and doesn’t reply

A week in paradise

My husband and I spent a fabulous week with our four daughters and (one partner) at Villa la Perla Blanca in February. The house is stunning and spacious--we loved all the sitting areas and places to gather and relax. Morning coffee on the deck, lounging by the pool in the afternoon, dinner outside in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with more than enough dishes, pots and pans--even containers for leftovers. We also appreciated that each bedroom has its own ensuite, everybody had enough room to spread out and enjoy. The house is perfectly located--a short walk to the beach and to all the amenities in town. We were pleasantly surprised to discover there were two mid-week cleanings included, and the property manager was quick to answer any additional questions we had. If we decide to visit Playa del Carmen as a family again, we will definitely return to this little piece of paradise. *The only downside--and it's a very small one--is that there is currently construction happening next door and it was occasionally noisy. But it definitely didn't keep us from enjoying ourselves and construction doesn't last forever.

Fantastic home

Had a really amazing stay here. The house has been recently updated and freshly painted—even the exterior, so much so that people walking by always admired it. Great new furniture, kitchen appliances, and decorations too. Plenty of plates and cookware etc. The hosts were lovely and quick to respond and Sergio (the local house manager) was absolutely fantastic. He always responded quickly, even coming over one night right away (within 10min) when we had an issue with the water heater that he quickly corrected. He was also great for organizing taxis for the airport and excursions. The only thing I’d note is the pool isn’t heated, so if you’re there in Dec/Jan like us, just keep that in mind—we still used it. And like others have said, DEFINITELY arrange for Sergio’s mother to bring over a home-cooked dinner and breakfast. Honestly we wish we’d done another. The best meals of our trip and quite reasonable. She was outstanding. Great location right near the gate so an easy walk into town without being too close (no traffic noise at all). Also easy walk to beach. Highly recommend. An outstanding place.

Beautiful House in the perfect location

This house has it all. Each of the 4 bedrooms is stunning and spacious and each has its own bathroom. The common areas are inviting as is the outdoor spaces. The pool, although not heated, was still plenty warm for our family. There were plenty of beach chairs and coolers for our excursions. Maid service every other day was a welcome plus. But the best thing that this house has going for it is its perfect location. You are a short 5 minute walk from a beautiful, uncrowded beach. And if you like to walk to 5th avenue, as we did almost every evening, it is maybe a short 10 minutes away from the shops and restaurants. A slight negative is that it is located on a busy street. The noise bothered me when trying to sleep so I traded for a bedroom that was in the back of the house. Problem solved and no one else was bothered by it. Also, if you need anything, the contact guy there is Sergio who can coordinate what ever it is that you may need. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Giorgio and Sergio

You pull up to the house and will be amazed at it's beauty. Sergio greeted us with a great run down of the house, and even took us to show us the short walk to the beach! The inside of the house had many comfortable areas. The beds were comfortable. The pool has plenty of loungers and other furniture for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen is so well equipped, even Tupperware! The entire house has everything you need! Highly recommend having Sergio's mother make you a dinner!! The road the house is on is busy, so you do hear road noise all night, but it's not terrible. No big trucks or anything. I would stay here again, really great!

The location couldn’t have been better — just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach, which made morning walks and sunset trips effortless.The condo was incredibly well appointed and thoughtfully stocked. We especially appreciated having access to a cooler, beach chairs, and umbrellas — it made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. Everything we needed was there, and it truly felt like a home away from home.The pool area was a highlight for us, and the outdoor shower was such a great touch after coming back from the beach. The space itself has a trendy, modern design that feels both stylish and comfortable.All of this at such a tremendous value — we honestly couldn’t believe how much we got for the price. This place is a true gem in a paradise location. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Playacar!

This home is one of the most beautiful and luxurious VRBOs in phase 2. The home boasts 4 bedrooms which are all decorated with similar furniture, bedding, and washrooms. The kitchen is really well equipped and the property manager was very quick to respond and fix any issues. As an example, one remote was running out of battery power, the next day batteries were on the front porch. Filtered Water is provided. A note: shampoo, conditioner and soap are not provided- which I think should be included in a high end rental. On the outside - there are so many patios to sit on, which is fabulous. We loved the one just off the living room which had two long sofas and screens you could pull down. We would sit there and watch the wildlife! The pool is cute and the perfect size for the home, but just note that it is not heated - since it was cool in Mexico during our stay, the water never really warmed up. We ventured to the beach a few times - the side path walkway took about 10 minutes. The home provided beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler! Overall, I recommend this home!

Nous avons eu des vacances de rêve dans cette maison nouvellement amélioré et décorée au gout du jour qui est parfaitement localisée dans un quartier sécuritaire. Notre famille de 6 adultes et 3 enfants dont; 3 ans (2) et 18 mois ,ont étés ravis. Elle offre toutes les qualités ,commodités, cuisine moderne et complète, chambres et salle de bain luxueuses et spacieuses, en plus d'être sécuritaire pour nos petits enfants. En plus d'une cour arrière exceptionnellement aménagée, avec une piscine muni d'un bar extérieur, et d'une section peut profonde pour nos petits. Il faut mentionner que tout est fourni ; même les chaises de plage, parasol, vélo, et elle est située a 5 minutes d'une splendide plage et a 10 minutes pédestre de la fameuses 5ieme avenue de Playa Del Carmen. Nous remercions le propriétaire Léo, et son gérant Sergio, de leur accueil, qui en plus d'être constamment disponible a notre confort dans la maison, nous a procuré toutes les facilités pour les excursions, transports et autres. Playacar vacation

We had a wonderful time in Playacar- one of our best family vacations ever! The house was perfect for the six of us (2 parents and 4 kids ages 19,17,15,13). It’s a short walk to the beach, the pool in the back was nice, and the roof top is great for sun bathing. Sergio, the property manager met as when we checked in. He was very informative and helpful. The house was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had a delicious traditional Mexican dinner prepared by Sergio’s mom one evening. The only thing that I would say would be extra nice is if there could be a small cart or wagon available for renters to transport the umbrellas, chairs, and other beach equipment to the beach with greater ease. Other than that we had everything we needed!! Would absolutely love to come back!

A Perfect Vacation

In our 2 decades of traveling with VRBO, this was the most wonderful experience we have had. The home is magnificent with lots of separate sitting areas to allow time for separateness and togetherness. The pool area is lovely and spacious -- a tranquil oasis. We loved that we could walk easily to town and to the beach. And, most of all, we appreciated the careful attention to everything provided by the manager Sergio and his staff. We were able to book private excursions through Sergio and it made all the stress of traveling to a new place disappear. We urge others not to miss arranging for a Mexican dinner in the home provided by Sergio's mother. It was a perfect way to end our perfect vacation.

Amazing Stay

We rented the villa and had six family members join us for a total of eight of us staying for a week. The house was pretty much well equipped and in a great location. Very short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Sergio was very attentive and was quick to answer all questions and assist in anyway possible. The maid service was excellent, very thorough.
