Allevard is halfway between Chambéry and Grenoble.
The train takes you to Grenoble, Goncelin or Pontcharra. A bus connection will then take you to Allevard.

The Skibus shuttles (stop 500 m from the residence) serve the ski resorts (Collet d'Allevard 10 km, 7 Laux 25 km and Côte de Barioz). Shuttle schedules 507, 605 and 607 can be consulted on tougo.fr (only on Wednesdays and weekends outside school holiday periods).
