We were looking for a place to stay that was a close drive to Avenue of the Giants and we found it! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the cabin itself was cozy and had an amazing view.
We wanted a simple sleep and shower cabin to stay at while exploring Humbolt State Park. This place met our needs for simplicity and for being pet friendly for our <50lb dog (restriction on this location).

It was in the Redwoods… it was clean and very cute cabin. The staff were super nice and accommodating… They are very child friendly, pool, old school arcade and small mini- golf… the cabin is made for two people and maybe two children it does not sleep 52-54 people there was a typo… we will go back!

Friendly staff, but descriptions completely failed to mention that the cabin is inside an RV park with ‘permanent residents’.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It’s not fancy but it is quiet and such a nice getaway for the night. The ladies running the front desk were very helpful and gave us some great food recommendations. Nothing like great pizza on the back porch of a quaint cabin on a windy summer night!
My kids and I had a great stay in the cabin. The river was a short walk from the front porch and though it was still too high and swift for swimming because of the time of year and heavy rains, we had a great time exploring. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We plan to return.
There is a mini fridge, clean sheets, extra blankets, 5 pillows, etc ...we didn't know what to expect so we brought our own linens, pillows, cooler, etc. It would have saved us time and energy knowing we didn't have to pack all those things. We will definitely stay again! It was right next to the river! The host even picked us up from the drop off location!!! Nicest people ever!! Campground was so clean!! There is mini golf and pool on site ..I wish I knew all this before. I can't say enough nice things about this place.

Bring some kitchen supplies
Fun little cabin, but:
There was a Keurig, minimum coffee choice, 2 reg,2decaf, only 1 chipped coffee mug, no disposable coffee cups. No drinking cups, but we had our water bottles with us:-) No forks, only 2 table knives & 2 teaspoons.
Refrig does not have freezer section.
Bar sink in kitchen is also your bathroom sink, doesn’t have a stopper, so don't drop anything.
Just arrive camping ready
The host was great, very accommodating. Cabins are small but clean. We could not get the WiFi to work. The pool and ( spa - kept luke warm, so it was being used as a kiddie pool, while we were there) then both were closed starting the second day we’re we’re there. Those who live there on the groucan be Roudy.

Some trailers for permanent residents were trashy . Unkept with garbage piled up outside . Noisy atv's racing around the property day and night .

I liked that it was located in the redwoods. It was quiet and somewhat secluded. It is located in an rv/ campground but that didnt really matter to us. There are some local that seem to be permanent but they just stayed to themselves carrying on with their life. Overall we loved the place and will definitely stay agian.
