This property was listed on Expedia and VRBO where I ultimately booked and paid for this unit. I found out from the host a couple days before arriving that there would be an 8 Euro fee for sheets and towels which was never mentioned in the listing. I made VRBO aware of this both before and after arriving and they were going to rectify this with the host, but ultimately I never heard back, so I had to pay at checkout. Horrible customer service. Don't bother booking here unless you want to pay extra for basics that should be included based on the listing.

Malerisches Städtchen zwischen dem Ausläufer der Pyrenäen und dem Mittelmeer.

Wir verbrachten 5 herrliche Tage in Banyuls-sur-Mer. Wir kamen aus Richtung Spanien über eine Interrail Reise. Im Sommer mehr Touristen als Einwohner, trotzdem sah man diese auch und es war alles sehr entspannt.Die Unterkunft lag wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof. Es gab Überlandbusse in die Badeorte und nach Perpignan. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, denn es gibt viele steile Treppen. Die Wohnung selbst liegt im 3. Stock, über mehrere engere Treppen erreichbar, was ich persönlich nicht mehr machen würde. Da wir doch mehrmals am Tag hin und herliefen und ich allein mit den Kindern reiste.Die Gegend ist absolut sicher und empfehlenswert. Viele französische Touristen, aber auch Holländer und Engländer. Zur Ausstattung: einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Für uns genau richtig. Ich hätte gern ein Geschirrhandtuch gehabt. Wir hätten sicher das „ Service Kit, was die Eigentümerin in ihrer Mail schrieb,bekommen. Vielleicht wäre da auch ein Geschirrhandtuch dabei gewesen. Aber ich hab es dann nicht mehr angesprochen und letztendlich trocknet das Geschirr auch soMan hat eine Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort., die sehr kompetent und freundlich war, die frz. War und die man telefonisch erreichen konnte. Waschen etc. war alles kostenlos möglich, Waschpulver musste man sich mitbringen. Wäscheleinen im urigen alten Keller vorhanden.Empfehlenswert für alle, die ohne große Ansprüche verreisen und das einfache Lrben mögen!Uns gefiel es sehr gut.
