Looking for a change of scenery? Come spend a few days at our peaceful countryside cottage, just 20 minutes from La Rochelle and Chatelaillon Beach. It’s ideally located for exploring the islands of Ré, Oléron, Madame, and Aix, as well as the Poitevin Marshes. Remote work is possible with Wi-Fi (fibre). Self-check-in is available—please contact us in advance.

The Clos du Chay cottage, rated 3 épis, is a 110-square-meter Charente-style house with exposed stone and wood, located in a detached setting in the village (shops within walking distance: bakery, supermarket, snack bar, 24-hour pizza delivery). Every Friday on the village square, enjoy the market and its entertainment.
During peak season, the mussel vendor’s service stations in front of the cottage every Tuesday and Saturday.

On the ground floor of the cottage, there is a double living room with a TV, wood-burning stove, tourist information area, DVD player, and board games. The dining room features an open-concept kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, two coffee makers (filter and Senseo), toaster, and food processor. Sofa bed.

- Firewood for the stove: 20 euros

Pets allowed upon request if they are house-trained and respectful of the property. Pet fee: 10 euros/day
