Are you ready to DUNE NOTHING
This is your home away from home, this waterfront cottage is nestled at the end of a quiet canal on a 4x4 ONLY sand road . Located just 1200 yds from the beach. This brand new house has an open floor plan that is set up to entertain. This is the perfect setup for a single family. This place is stacked with amenities. The new couch is comfy and the 65” tv is ready for movie night. You can pull your boat up right out back. There are 2 bedrooms both have a full bathroom.

One room has a bunk bed with 3 beds 2 full size mattresses, and a 1 trundle twin mattress.
The second room has 1 queen bed with a full bathroom.
The mattresses are brand new Puffy and Dreamclouds

This home offers some great outdoor seating areas, one of the best ones is the screened in porch with plenty of seating and amazing waterfront sunset views. a high top 4 top table and a patio seating set gives you plenty of options to chill out and play board games with the family, Or have dinner while the sun goes down. We have an outdoor shower for when you get back from the beach and need to wash off all the sand and salt water or if you just like to takes showers outside when the weather is beautiful . There is also a seating area and small deck on the bottom of the house next to the outdoor shower, where you can hangout and watch the kids go fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There is an outdoor propane grill, kayaks, paddle boards, sun chairs, beach chairs, fishing poles, surf board, boogie boards all included and much more at this House finished March 2021. We also provide, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tooth brushes, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, sheets, pillows,fresh sponges, Loofahs, laundry detergent, fabric softener and way more. Our house is stocked with pots, pans, spices, coffee/tea, oils, sugar, sandwich bags, water bottles, and the list goes on. Come make yourself feel at home in the coolest part of the Outer Banks! Perfect Family Getaway

Dune Nothing is a great property with all the right amenities. Our family enjoyed the quiet peacefulness and the time shared together. The location on the canal was great for kayaking and fishing. The house itself was spectacular. It had everything we needed and more. We received all of the information needed to access the property in a timely fashion and truly enjoyed our week at the beach.

Great stay

Our family had a great experience at Dune Nothing. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was perfect, close to the beach, water access, and tons of horses nearby to watch! Great experience overall.

First OBX Vacation

This was our families first trip to the OBX. We chose this area because of the wild horses and being less touristy. House and property were great. Most everything you need is provided. Had horses on the property every day. It was a very hot and humid week so we didn’t spend much time fishing, kayaking or enjoying the outside deck area. Overall it was a great experience and glad we chose this property.

Awesome beach house

Our little family of 5 had the BEST week at Dune Nothin. Beautiful home, the owners are amazing, watched the wild horses everyday, dolphins playing in the surf, beaches aren’t crowded. This was our second stay at Dune Nothing, and it was just as memorable as the first. The peaceful setting, daily visits from wild horses in the backyard, and the chance to truly unplug made it the perfect escape.One of the best parts is having fishing and kayaking right in the backyard. The kids loved being able to cast a line steps from the house, and hopping in the kayak to explore the calm waters was so easy and relaxing.We also took full advantage of the nearby 4WD beach. Driving right onto the beach was not only fun, but incredibly convenient—especially with kids. No hauling gear across a hot parking lot—just drive, park, and set up. It made beach days simple and stress-free.Our host, Aristotle, was once again friendly, helpful, and super accommodating. This home is a true hidden gem and has become a favorite getaway for our family. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!Thank You!

We made it

The Cleanthes home is absolutely stunning and everything they described and more! The property is stocked, clean!, and very welcoming. The owners are nothing short of friendly, welcoming, generous and very accommodating. My family had a very enjoyable week filled with new memories made- the horses always make that extra special! We were blessed to have the opportunity to end our summer borrowing their home which felt so comfortable to be in! We will definitely be back and recommend anyone to book with them.

A real get away vacay.

Great place to really get away. Everything was there except food and water. We recommend taking a pop up tent for the beach, as that was the only beach item not included. There were horses at the house everyday. Pack in with everything you want to eat or drink, because you’re probably not going to want to make the beach drive back to town for an errand.

Dune Nothing! An enchanting story begins....

Awesome! Aristotle was Great. Always available and helpful. The house is beautiful and full of wonderful surprises. Kayaking was very fun, watching the Sun set, Indoor/Outdoor games, watching the beautiful horses brings a peaceful, serene moments that you can only experience in the OBX. The beach was great too! Beach passes provided! Yes! He covered that too! We had a few rough times with the weather, (i.e road flooding,) but a great 4WD vehicle is a must especially going out to eat. It was a little difficult to get deliveries up to the beach house. Also, the water takes a bit getting used to. But overall, a great experience, the house is packed with everything you need. So, sit back, relax and enjoy an experience like no other. A hidden gem in the OBX....looking forward to going back! Stay Blessed my friends. God bless you all! Thanks again Aristotle!

Magical Place

Everything was just as described or in the photographs. The horses were constantly around the house and it was so much fun to watch them. We loved kayaking through the canals. It was the first time in many years that we truly relaxed on a vacation. We had all the amenities of a luxurious getaway while feeling like we were off-grid.

Excellent vacation

Dune Nothing is everything you could want in a cozy beach house and more. Clean and modern furnishings. Well stocked kitchen, laundry room & bathrooms. When they say just bring food & your bathing suit they were not kidding! Everyday you will see horses off your front porch and the sunset is reminiscent of Maui. We’ve been coming to OBX for 20 years and this property is a treasure. Dune Nothing is a treasure & our family will be back!

Get away and chill

Cannot say enough about this property and the generosity of the owner. House so well equipped and access to all the kayaks and chairs is a rare thing. Listen to guidelines about the horses and driving on the sand and you will be amazed how special this place is. Well worth the effort to get there.

Great Carova Beach Rental

We stayed at Dune Nothing at the end of April. Everything was spotless and the house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We saw horses from the deck almost daily, and the short drive to the beach was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!! I would say to bring plenty of bottled water as you will want to drink that and use it to brush your teeth.

If you like to stay in the path less traveled and a place where you can “dune nothing” look no more. The home is as full of everything you need to stay and relax. The beach is a short drive away and the downstairs area has everything you would need. The wild horses and seashells didn’t disappoint these Texans. We slept very comfortably and had plenty of room for our family of 4. Everything that’s described in the details and reviews describes the place beautifully. Make sure you get groceries and stuff before you start the beach drive unless you are super comfortable with a sandy drive to more city luxuries . My husband was comfortable with the drive, but it’s not for everyone. Again just a perfect unique place to stay for special memories.

Fun in the Sun

We enjoyed our stay at Dune Nothing. The owners thought of so many little details to add to make our vacation more fun and relaxing. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the canal and also the beach!

Beautiful Home… A Wonderful Wild Horse Adventure!

This home was extremely clean, well stocked and ready for our adventure! The beautiful 2 bedroom home easily fit our family of two adults, 3 teenaged girls and a very energetic 7 year old boy quite comfortably. (Air mattresses are in the closets in case you need to fit more people.) We thoroughly enjoyed the boogie boards, paddle boards, fishing gear and kayaks and used them every single day. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and there was even coffee and tea. Make sure you bring more water than you think you need for the week as you will definitely prefer to drink and brush your teeth with bottled water over the filtered water from the fridge. Keep in mind that this is a very remote location and the water system is as good as as it can be, but more than likely you will not want to drink the water. One night, the fire alarms went off quite randomly. We found that one of the batteries needed to be changed and the Owner, Aristotle was very responsive. He personally delivered batteries (by boat) within 12 hours and he even and even brought us a case of water, a gallon of milk and fresh vegetables from their garden! You should note that the closest grocery store is a 45 minute drive (on the beach). We were a bit worried about taking our Honda Pilot, but it made it through the 9 mile trek on the beach just fine using its Sand mode. We drive it back and forth to the beach each day. Every day was an adventure! There were wild horses everywhere! From the moment we drove off the beach onto the hard packed sand roads of Corova beach, we saw our first horse and continued to see them every single day, several times per day. They were even in the bay and in the beach! The horses came right onto the property several times throughout each day and even walked around on the lower deck. Our stay was truly an adventure. We created memories that will last a lifetime and we would definitely come back to Corova and stay in this home again.

Was everything we were hoping for

This property was set up perfectly. It was impeccably clean and was fully stocked with things we needed and with things we didn’t know we needed. Between the location right off the bay, the beautiful screened in deck and all the water and beach supplies and toys, my family and I were able to experience Corova in the best way someone who has never been there before could. Would recommend this listing to anyone and everyone who ever wants to go to Corova
