About this property

Kate's Guest House "Hidden Retreat"

Our guest house is a fully furnished 5 bedroom house located in a small town in the middle of Amish Country. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby for your enjoyment. A swimming pool, playhouse, swingset, and lots of room outside to sit and relax on the patio beside the pool. Two of the bedrooms lead out to a balcony.

The kitchen has a sliding door out to a deck. The family room has a wood burning fireplace, built in bookcases with lots of books and magazines, a TV and sliding doors leading out to a screened in porch. We also have an office with a desk and a couch that opens up to a bed which would give sleeping room for two more people. The dining room has a large table, ideal for groups, and also a smaller table w/4 chairs.

The host was great. There were some things on the listing that were not accurate. The heated pool was wonderful!!!! We loved having lots of room since there were 10 of us. It could use some updates, but was very clean and that was most important! We hope to come again sometime.

This house was very clean and so roomy for our group of 8 adults and 2 children. The pool was WONDERFUL. The house was very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfy even though the largest bed in the home is a queen size. The house does not have an outdoor play area as shown in the photo, The pictures do not do the home justice as it is a bit more updated than what is pictured in the photos. We met the owners of the home and were both super friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay so much we already booked for a longer stay next year.

We loved our stay at Katie’s place. Very inviting home! We loved the fire pit and pool. Very spacious for our family of 8 and still had room for more if needed!! We would definitely stay here again!

We love the pastoral views that surround this property and the tranquility of the setting. The house is perfect for relaxing and it's lovely to go back and forth so easily from the house to the refreshing pool.

A very enjoyable vacation. Accommodations are the best

The swimming pool was fantastic. It was the best part of the vacation for the grandkids. Sleeping arrangements were very good. A very nice place to stay.
