Wonderful stay!

I love this little town! The castle is still there, the people are so friendly and kind, the bakery & market are well run, clean and the workers are extremely nice. I only speak English, with enough French to say hello, goodbye, thank you, etc…but there is always a way to communicate if you are kind. The apartment is perfect for one or two people, it’s quiet, clean, beautiful & the host is so kind! I would stay again every time I am in France.

Gîte charmant aménagé avec soin. Idéalement placé pour des randonnées dans les volcans ou pour flâner dans les villes voisines Thiers et Vichy , nous étions ravis de retrouver le gîte après nos journées bien remplies !

Gîte très propre et fonctionnel,il ne manque rienbonne literie,décoration intérieure avec beaucoup de goût 🤩L’hôte Martine est accueillante et nous reçoit avec des petites attentions qui font vraiment plaisir Le village de Châteldon est une cité médiéval charmante(beaucoup de balades et visites à proximité;nous avons été au Puy de Dôme,Vichy,Thiers,Saint Clément,Vulcania…On y reviendra c’est sûr et certainement dans le gîte de Martine,que nous recommanderons fortement une semaine c’est trop court surtout quand on si sent bienDaniel Isabelle et Théo

Nous étions une famille de 4 personnes avec 2 enfants de 3 et 7 ans. Hébergement adapté et propre (chaise haute, jeux pour enfants...) dans une ancienne cité médiévale.Proche des commerces (épicerie, boulangerie, petit bistro où on y mange très bien, pharmacie..) et des villes Thiers, Vichy et Clermont ferrand.Nous recommandons.

Super gîte à Chateldon

Gîte très bien aménagé dans un village de charme, petit mais avec tous les services. Voyageant avec des petites-filles nous avons trouvé le gîte très pratique pour faire de nombreux excursions aux alentours. L'accueil de la propriétaire Martine très chaleureux et sympathique.

Séjour à Châteldon

Le séjour s'est très bien passé au gîte de l'Eau du Roi ! Il est aménagé avec goût, et tout ce qu'il faut est à disposition. L'accueil de Martine a été très sympathique et ses conseils ont été utiles. Le restaurant "Le Bistr'eau D'Odon" à deux pas prépare de très bons plats. Nous y séjournions avec nos jeunes enfants. Il faut prévoir un petit peu de temps de route pour certaines activités, mais nous avons pu facilement occuper notre semaine entre Thiers (visite de coutellerie, promenade dans la vallée des rouets), Vichy (promenade en vélo le long de l'Allier, déambulation dans les magnifiques parcs et diverses activites), Paléopolis, etc.

Une belle semaine à Chateldon

Séjour très agréable à Chateldon dans un gîte qui vient d'être rénové, qui est très propre, très bien arrangé, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il faisait très chaud cette semaine là et nous étions très contents d’être au frais dans le gîte. Le gîte est bien centré par rapport aux visites et activités, le village est très mignon, petite citée de caractère. Les propriétaires ont été très arrangeants pour notre arrivée , très sympas, très accueillants. Bonne continuation à eux dans leur aventure.
