A historic house located on the edge of a hamlet (600 metres above sea level) with a garden and mountain views. Ideal for a peaceful holiday surrounded by nature, lulled by birdsong and the sound of a stream flowing below. There are plenty of options for walks around the house and the hamlet (short hikes for children and families, or more challenging outings for experienced hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers, etc.). Nearby in the valley and region: Cathar castles, medieval history, prehistoric caves, regional parks, crafts, fine dining, local markets, rivers, mountain lakes...<br>The nearest shops are 4 km away; the town of Foix and its services, shops, and recreational activities are 9 km away.<br><br>The house is spacious: on the ground floor, it features a large living room and a kitchen/dining room with a fireplace. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom (1 double bed), a bathroom (shower), and a separate toilet; on the second floor, two bedrooms (one double bed in the first / two single beds in the second, with the option to add mattresses or sleeping spaces on the floor) and a bathroom (tub/shower) with a toilet. The staircase is wide, with a railing and child-proof access for young children.<br>Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, hob...), laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer), and garden (table, chairs, lounge chairs).
