About this property

Mas de Charme Dans Village Provençal

The farmhouse is designed to comfortably accommodate two families or a group of friends, with spacious living areas, a private pool, and numerous shaded and sunny outdoor spaces to fully enjoy the summer.
This luxuriously renovated medieval village farmhouse, built of dry stone, is ideal for up to 12 people plus 2 children. Rated 3 stars, it boasts charming décor, exceptional comfort, new bedding, a fully equipped summer kitchen, and a fully equipped kitchen. The 18m² swimming pool opens on May 10th. Numerous balconies and terraces offer beautiful, unobstructed views. This restored, three-story house, part of which dates back to the 16th century, comprises a characterful ensemble of dwellings, alcoves and passageways, hidden nooks, a garden, and a charming courtyard in the heart of a Provençal and medieval village. The entrance is via the first-floor balcony, which opens onto the living/dining room. From here, you access the kitchen and the master bedroom suite with its very large sunny terrace. There is a separate WC on this floor.

A staircase leads to the second floor, which houses two large, air-conditioned attic bedrooms, each a family suite, with a WC and a walk-in shower.
The typical Uzège-style vaulted bedroom on the ground floor is accessible from the courtyard or via the spiral staircase in the kitchen, which descends into the second living room with exposed beams (TV room).
Two independent bedrooms are en suite with entrances from the courtyard.
The laundry room (washing machine/dryer) is accessible from bedroom 4, which is therefore more suited as a nanny's room or a children's room. Air conditioning is installed in the living and dining rooms, as well as in the three bedrooms on the first and second floors. Fan in the TV room and the 3 cool, semi-basement bedrooms on the ground floor.
All beds are 160x200 cm (4) or 180x200 cm (2). Sofa beds are 120x190 cm (2).
The house boasts a very well-equipped kitchen with large and small appliances (including an ice maker) and a magnificent traditional Godin cast-iron range. In summer, a second kitchen under the covered porch allows for cooking on both the gas BBQ and the stove, next to the summer lounge and not far from the pool. Dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, cutlery, and utensils are provided in each kitchen (simpler in the outdoor kitchen).
Several sun loungers, deck chairs, and mats are available. Firewood for the fireplace is freely accessible.
Half of the courtyard is lawn, perfect for sunbathing. Electric gate for cars and two gates for pedestrian access to the house through the narrow streets of the medieval village. Parking for two cars on the property, but parking in the village 100 meters away is recommended to preserve the beauty of the farmhouse's exterior.
Garden and shaded courtyard with plants, summer kitchen, large cozy living room, tables, and BBQ.
An elegant and peaceful retreat, with all the charm of Provence, perfect for groups of up to 12 adults comfortably accommodated in the six bedrooms and two living rooms (plus two children using the sofa beds). Four bedrooms are en suite, and two bedrooms share a bathroom on the landing. Air conditioning is provided in three bedrooms and the living room, and fans are installed in the cool ground-floor bedrooms, as the house is built into the hillside and the ground floor is naturally protected from the heat.

Why they chose this property
