Built in the late 1700's, this renovated Historic Home is located above one of Georgia's oldest running bars. Abe's Abode may be named after Savannah's famed Abe's on Lincoln, but is no stranger to comfort. Perched on the Corner of Lincoln, and Bryan Street, this home is perfect for those who are looking to stay in the heart of Savannah's nightlife!

Upon entering you will be immediately greeted by Historic features, such as the original shiplap walls and hardwood flooring. This space offers a selection of tasteful furnishings, making each room unique in their own way, with no detail spared. The main living space is a perfect spot for gathering together that can accommodate your entire group - an ideal space to plan your Savannah adventure, or bunker down for a night in! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal, or mix up some cocktails before venturing out into Savannah's lively nightlife.

On the first floor, guests can find a full bathroom conveniently located off of the kitchen and living space. The first bedroom is also located on the first floor, which offers a King size bedroom. Head upstairs, where you'll find three additional bedrooms, that feature a King bed, a Queen bed , and a Full bed with a Twin. There is another full bathroom at the end of the hall, that has a walk-in shower, and marble vanity with plenty of storage.

Abe's Abode is the home for you if you're looking for a fun place to gather with friends, while staying above one of Georgia's oldest running bars. When the sun goes down in Savannah, the fun has just begun. Thanks to the lively Savannah nightlife in this area, there are plenty of things to do in Savannah after dark. Grab a plastic “to-go” cup and carry your drink from bar to bar throughout downtown Savannah and River Street!

What is parking like for this property?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage. Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

Place was very nice. Description said construction Monday-Friday but they started hammering outside by 7:30 Saturday and Sunday mornings. Kind of hard to get through to stairs being they only gave about a foot between the stairs and the construction fence. Also showed an outdoor area that was dug up by construction. People in the bar underneath were awesome people! Also was not very loud even though they stay open late. I would definitely stay here again but will wait a bit until construction is complete.

The perfect spot for an entire crew

So this place is amazing. The history, the location and the bar underneath ( and its employees ) ((ask for gizmo)).Because of the age the noise can be loud but it was actually fun. The construction behind it was not that bad at all. I would come back to this location everytime!!! We all fell in love with the place.

Great for group outing

We booked this location for a bachelorette party and it was great - excellent proximity to bars and activities, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. There is bar in the basement of the property that is also a great hangout spot for guests over 21 (although it does get somewhat loud at night as you can hear the music through the floor, which we didn't mind but others might). The property managers were extremely responsive throughout our stay and check-in and check-out was extremely straightforward. Would definitely book again.

Great location for a group of friends looking to enjoy restaurants and nightlife. Convenient to Bay and River street. The Bar below the location is fun. It closes around 3am. Parking is in a parking deck approx 75 yards away. The parking was a little pricey. I would be a repeat customer at this location. No complaints.

Lovely place close to everything!

My friends and I came here to celebrate our friend getting married! This was such an easy process and very clean and spacious! We were able to walk to everything! The only downsides were the parking garage was a little bit of a walk but only 10 for the weekend! We went when there was construction so if you’re looking for a place to rest peacefully and get a good nights sleep this isn’t the place. The bar below is open until 3am and you hear EVERYTHING. Then construction starts at 7am including weekends. We weren’t sleeping much anyway so it didn’t really bother me so just a heads up:) overall this place was great and I’d definitely stay again! Until next time Georgia!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely horrible experience. The description notes you’re above a bar. It does not include that the bar plays dubstep and rap until 3am every single night and the entire house literally shakes. Glad we did not bring kids. Bar patrons smoke cigarettes that filter into the main bedroom. Worst vacation rental experience of my life. I’m embarrassed to have been the one to have suggested this place. We were exhausted every day due to lack of sleep. Trip was ruined and we all went home infuriated. It’s also literally next to a construction site. There was what appeared to be a bloodstain on a bedroom pillow.

Reviewer Comments: This wonderful property has kept all the charm of a two-century old building while updating the kitchen, bathrooms, & laundry to luxury rental status. This unit is near everything, so no need for a car, and the property management team was a dream to work with (they were even responsive early on a Sunday morning when I had a question). Know before you go: This is above a bar, and you'll feel and hear it until 3 am some nights. This may be a dealbreaker for some, but my guests and I were fine with earplugs & a sound machine.

My only feedback is that the floors in the unit could have been cleaner.

The place is just above Abe’s on Lincoln which is a great bar, but you can hear everything.

The bar closes late with stragglers hanging outside the bar afterwards and they are by no means quiet. It kept the four of us up every night until about 4 am. I would not stay here again unfortunately. It really killed the mood.

This is such a cool spot for a girls or guys trip. We loved the fact that it’s above the local dive bar. They’re open until 3 am, so when you and your friends get done walking around the rest of the town, you can continue drinking and dancing downstairs and conveniently walk up the steps to your VRBO stay. The house is pretty antiquated, with the original flooring and doors/frames - we found that super cool and unique. I was grateful for the flat screen smart tv’s and the dishwasher! Oh and not to mention this home is featured on Ghost City Tours Pub Crawl. That made our stay so much more entertaining haha. Overall the location of the home is perfect with everything being within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately I would not stay here again because of the noise.
