WE RENT OUR HOME ONLY A FEW WEEKS EVERY YEAR as Halenani is our primary residence. However because Halenani is our primary residence, we are NOT subject to the Hawaii County's new short-term vacation rental law (Bill 108) that limits most larger properties to renting only 5 bedrooms. Therefore, we can legally rent all 7 bedrooms.

It's just so easy to spend the day indoors when you are treated to bedrooms with king-sized beds, automated curtains, walk-in closets, oversized bathrooms with dual-head showers, vanities, and outdoor showers, an office area with its own Apple iMac computer, and your very own 50-inch high-definition television (equipped with HD Satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD Players and their own stereo systems)! Every single room is air conditioned separately, so you will never fight over an optimal temperature again!

If you have kids, they will be so pleased to learn that they have their very own wing with two bedrooms and a media room of its own! The Surfrider Suite encompasses two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with four twin bed sets, attached by a dual bathroom. It even has its own media area with a 50-inch television (equipped with 4 video game consoles, a karaoke system, HD Satellite TV, and a Blu-Ray DVD Player).

When you are in the mood to entertain, Halenani is THE spot to do so. A cook's dream kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, an enormous pantry, and four dishwashers make cooking a pleasure three times a day. Dining areas, with combined seating for 24, ensures that space is never an issue. A grand living room with hanging heliconias overhead lures guests to sit and converse for hours while elevated above the lanai. The lanai also provides a dining area of its own and a spacious gas grill for the perfect Hawaiian barbecue. It's all so easy!

You want entertainment? Halenani provides it all. A dedicated media room provides guests with a 50-inch television (equipped with Satellite TV, Cable, Blu-Ray DVD, VCR, and more) plus an 82' hi-def lanai 4K HDR TV with museum enclosure each with an easy-to-use touchscreen interface to access it all. Enjoy an automated massage from one of the iJoy massage chairs or engage in games in the gaming area towards the rear. Want to watch a movie during the day? Use the automated blackout curtains to ensure the paramount of home cinema experiences. Additionally, you may enjoy movies on the outdoor cinema area -- located on the lanai for outdoor/pool viewing! Safety is our priority at Halenani. In addition to a photoelectric pool alarm system, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and numerous first aid kits are stationed throughout the home.

Halenani is also eco-friendly with 132 x 230 Watt solar panels (30Kw) on the lanai roof but hidden from any view. Most days, these produce up to 170 Kwh of solar power, plus a separate solar hot water heater supporting 280 gallons on continuous hot water and 9 available showers. Primary bath also has built-in steam room capabilities in the dual shower. Natural salt-water based infinity pool.
