You will just LOVE staying here. Located about 15-20 minutes from Jefferson, NC so you're close enough to enjoy everything in the High Country! You have amazing views of our locally famous Three Top Mountain which has an elevation of 5,020 ft. Three Top Mountain is one of the more impressive mountains in the NC High Country, located in the northwest corner of North Carolina.

Inside you will find this beautiful cabin decorated in beautiful log cabin style. The kitchen is fully stocked with most everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. The dining table is hand crafted and enough seating for up to 8. There are more seating room at the island bar.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one of which is a king size bedroom and there is a queen size bed in the other plus there is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The living room offers a nice and cozy wood burning stove for those cold winter days.

There are 2 more bedrooms on the lower level. One bedroom offers a queen size bed and the other bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds for the kids. There is also a wood burning stove and satellite TV on the lower level as well. The kids will enjoy the Game Cube with kid and family friendly games on those rainy days.

After a day of hiking, canoeing, shopping, or horseback riding, slip into the 6 person hot tub and relax. Let the soothing jets transport you to tranquility and listen to the sounds of the built in waterfall! The views from this cabin are incredible!!

Incommunicado is the perfect way to spend quality time with the family. For the outdoor lovers, enjoy the nearby state parks, canoeing such as Riverside Canoe & Tube Rentals and Zaloo's Canoes, or hiking at one of the many trails in Ashe County. There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons and a 3 night minimum for most holidays and the entire month of October. 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday and a 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays.

Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 10:00 am.

Guests will receive one complimentary admission per activity, per day. You can go to every activity, every day and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are noncumulative and nontransferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

For example, you can visit Tweetsie Railroad first thing when they open (one person is free) and then zipline at Sky Valley Zip Tours in the afternoon (one person is free) and then enjoy a the Mysterium Escape Adventure in the evening (one person is free). You may do some or all of the activities every day and one of your party is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

*Does not apply to monthly reservations (greater than 27 nights) and some activities are seasonal.

***Important Notes:
-This cabin is accessed by a long steep paved driveway. We HIGHLY recommend a front wheel drive vehicle or 4WD/AWD for our cabin. Tire chains and 4WD or AWD may be necessary during the winter months.
-The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home.
-Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, ice, and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy and slick in the winter months. For the safety of you and your party, Please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive/AWD, good tires, and/or chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
