Cozy home in Asperup with sauna

Here the whole family has plenty of space for their active vacation. The house is well furnished and has, in addition to the pool and jacuzzi, 2 bathrooms, one of which is located by the pool room. 3 steps take you from the sleeping area to the rest of the house. The kitchen is open to the living room, where a large fireplace and a cozy bay window add to the comfort. From the living room you can always keep an eye on the children in the pool room. Wellness offers a whirlpool for 5 and the sauna. The nearby beach is child-friendly. Båring Sommerland has a good beach, it is located in front of a cliff from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding area and Jutland. The area is home to castles and manor houses worth seeing, one of which is Egeskov Slot. Here you can move from treetop to treetop in the Schosspark and see museums and beautiful museums.

Huset er dejligt imens køkkenet og terrassen er meget nedslidt. Det var ikke rengjort service i køkkenet og det fremstår generelt meget rodet. Der mangler skåle og paletknive. Nogle skabe er tomme og andre meget overfyldt med glemte, ødelagte beskidte ting. Det er ærgerligt, da det ødelægger helhedsindtrykket fra den skønne store stue og det dejlige pool område.

Nice pool, spacious property, state of beds disappointing

This property is situated in a very quiet area, close to the coast so you are guaranteed privacy, peace & quiet. It has a lovely heated pool which although not large, is still quiet adequate for a large family. The spa/hot tub was good too, although we had a problem with water quality this was sorted out quickly. Sauna is also good. The down side for us was that the property did not smell very fresh, several light bulbs needed replacing and the state if the pillows on the beds was awfull - badly stained, which was very off putting. We reported this and some fresh pillows were provided the same day, which was good, but it did make us wonder about the overall cleanliness of the duvets, bed protectors and beds generally. Also, be warned that in addition to the weekly rental shown on H&A, you pay H&A an 'admin charge' plus, unlike renting somewhere in the UK or southern Europe, there is another significant amount payable locally when you arrive to cover your use of electricity and water, and if you want to have the property cleaned on your departure, ther's a really whopping further charge (Denmark labour rates are high)! So the cost per week suddenly goes up by nearly fifty per cent per week, which you have to allow for. And of course you have to take your own bed linen and towels (we took microfibre camping towels as we flew with just hand luggage). That said, good property overall due to the additional pool, hot tub & sauna facilities.
