About this property

Lakefront Getaway on Lake Norman NC, 3 bdr 2 bath

Located on the beautiful North Carolina lake, Lake Norman. Home is lakefront with a dock to enjoy fishing, hanging out with friends and family, or just to enjoy the view. The home has WIFI, cable TV, and a large patio deck.

Check in is 3p.m. and check out is 11a.m. We are not pet friendly and require our guests to be at least 25 years old.
Looking for a long weekend getaway? This is the perfect spot for you.

Located in Sherrills Ford, just between Denver and Mooresville. If you know where the Landing Restaurant is located, we are just by there!

We do require a rental agreement to be signed for your stay and ask you please treat our home as your own and clean up after yourselves.

Please pull the trash/green garbage to the road if any bags are used and placed in them during your stay.

There are NO linens and NO towels. You must bring linens and toiletries..

Dishes must be cleaned and put away. All trash taken out of home and placed in green garbage/hobo.

There are security cameras located outside of the home for security.

NO PETS. NO PARTIES. Family oriented stays only please!!!

Great Cove!

We enjoyed our stay! We floated in the cove, kayaked out & about, and watched the fireworks from the dock. Bring your linens and plan to have a fantastic lake stay!

Family gathering

Our party of 6 came from 3 states to be together for Labor Day weekend. We had an excellent stay. The location is awesome! It is on the water, very quiet, feels safe, and has plenty of space to hang out. Only thing to note ahead of time is that sheets and towels are not provided. Still, it’s worth it!

No linens or towels !!

They do not provide any linens or towels (a very big deal for those not traveling by car). The Queen size bed in the second bedroom is a pillow top mattress that requires a special size fitted sheet. The host was very good at communication and very accommodating. There was a prevailing musty smell throughout the house.

Very easy to find and very clean. My only suggestion would be to install safety rails in Master bath shower. It's a high step up into the shower and nothing to hold to for older or handicapped individuals. Just FYI the electric can opener does not work and I couldn't find a manual one. Had a really nice visit with my Son and his wife. They decided to not stay with us but to drive back and forth since they had been sick. Lovely views of Lake Norman! We stayed perfectly warm in all of the cold weather!!!

Older modular home. Soft floors. Thin walls. Low, small shower. Sheets and towels not provided. We suggest that you also bring your own pillows. They smell.

This was a fishing trip. Brought my boat and tied up at the dock, however most all the fish we caught were just off the private dock. 8 channel cats between 3 & 5 lbs! The property was very clean and well kept. Property as advertised!

We rented in order to be near to our sons who were vacationing on the other side of the lake so the location of this property worked well for us. (Perhaps updating the antique furniture in the two of the gathering rooms might be considered in the future)

Great views and pirate theme

The location of the property was really neat and the views of the lake are AMAZING! The property is really neat inside and really reminded me of an old seafood restaurant my family used to go to. It really was fantastic minus a slight miss on my side as I didn’t realize with VRBO that I should bring my own sheets and towels. The owner is quick and responsive and I enjoyed this stay very much. I’d recommend!
