At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #3 is an open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Included you will find a 1 queen bed in each bedroom, 2 full & 1 twin beds in the loft, couch, tv/dvds, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock and horse shoes. A nice shallow sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin. The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street and party store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 129 Thorpe Ave. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that is also one block away.
PETS OK! (Pet fee is $45 per pet) Campfire wood available for purchase on property.

We’ve stayed in Jeremy’s cabins several times now, cabin 3 is our favorite. Enough room to have other people in our group over to hangout and have dinner. Plenty of room for our dog to roam around in the common area, plus it’s a short walk to the lake. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

When I rented this place, I thought it was right on the water because the pictures showed a beach with fire pit and the water behind it. When we got there we found the water was a block away and there was no beach.The cabin itself was nice and had a full kitchen.

To clarify, while the property offers beautiful lake views, the beach and public dock are located just a short walk—about a block—from the cabin, as mentioned in our property description. We do not advertise the cabin as directly on the water, and there are no photos that show a beach directly behind a fire pit. The fire pit shown is on the resort property, and the lake can be seen in the distance. We always strive to provide clear and accurate descriptions and are happy to answer any questions in advance of booking.
