Sandy Beach resort is our favorite place to stay in Myrtle. Room was fine. Wifi was spotty. AC in master wouldn't cool lower than 74. And the dang door code ws 10 digits long, so too long to try to remember so we had to take our phones to the beach with us. Overall sray was fine. See you next year Myrtle Beach!

We had a wonderful time. This unit is a great size for 6 people. There was plenty of space. Everything was clean, and most importantly pest free. It has a nice view of the ocean from the living room and balcony, and one of the bedrooms also has a balcony with a view of the road and amusement park. There is a bit of noise at night. You will be able to hear the louder cars going by. I was impressed with how responsive Vacasa was with an issue we had. We called because we had some trouble with the door code and also to report missing items such as pans, knives, and glasses. Brandon came to the rescue helped with the door as well as bringing all the items mentioned. The resort is nice and a great location on the beach. My kids loved the pools and lazy river. Overall a great experience.

Dated lodging, carpet worn and dirty, 3 different sized glasses for 4 adults, called, said they would take care of it, did not! Missing pillow cases, three towels for two adults, we needed to do laundry.

Spacious unit with a beach and city view

This was our 5th time at Sandy beach, but our first without being ocean front. Amenities are great and units are spacious and well equipped. Everything was great except the street noise at night. Cars with loud exhaust and loud radios could be heard well past midnight. Being on the fifth floor we could even hear people talk and laugh as they walked by. Didn’t take away from the great time we had, but we could have done without the noise overnight.

Would absolutely stay here again! Location and heated pools were amazing. A few minor things to fix...1. There needs to be a grip bar in master bathroom as the bathtub is very tall and slippery. 2. Microwave is ducktaped. 3. Ice maker doesnt work at all. 4. kitchen sink is clogged and drains slowly. 5 there are gnats in the kitchen. Unsure where they are coming from but thinking from the sink.

If you are thinking about it, think again!

Arrived at the unit at 4:15pm to check in, discovered it was still being cleaned. The cleaning lady (who is not from the property but outsourced) said it was her second day cleaning and the previous guests had trashed it. That was apparent when she had 8 bags of trash, a pile of dirty towels and numerous other things to take out of the unit. By 4:30pm when we were in the unit, we realized this was not as pictured. The carpet is filthy - stained with fingernail polish, black stains. We always wash the dishes in the dishwasher when we arrive - discovered there were only 4 forks, a plethora of spoons, 2 glasses - one a tiny juice glass and the other a small rocks type glass - that was dirty and broken. Duct tape hanging down from inside microwave door, vents/ducts very filthy with black/grey dirt - my husband looked at the filter, absolutely disgusting. Sleeper sofa mattress is very stained, no sheets for this bed. Sunlit "beach" condo - is a stretch - your view of the beach is from a small triangle balcony with 2 chairs. Someone finally got us silverware, glasses and a mattress cover for the sleeper sofa. Only thing refunded was cleaning fee. Would not recommend and definitely will not stay here again. Very dissatisfied.

No lights In half the unit kept calling they kept saying they would send someone out never did spent 4 nights there with one bedroom and one bathroom dirty pull out couch had springs busting out of it just worst experience I was frustrated because I was on vacation and couldn't get any help and when I called in the lady started getting smart with me her exact words was I am on the otherside of the country what you want me to do WoW!!! besides that they would not issue a refund

This property was adequate. Refrigerator was dirty as well as coffee pot and toaster. Cigar butt on nightstand and butts on balcony😕. Bathrooms were recently redone 👍. Lots of late night street noise. Needs some overall TLC⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mixed experience during our visit, but has potential

Upon entering we were impressed with the size. It is very spacious. However, an inspector came right after our arrival and there were many things missing and several things broken (it would’ve been nice if they attended to that before our visit). He was able to solve some of this immediately and other things we needed to go purchase on our own. Some things never got fixed throughout the duration. However, with a little TLC, this could be a great unit. The worst issue for us was that the air conditioning in the master suite does not work. I repeat, it does not work. Management claims that it does, but the only reason that room stays around 72 to 74° is because the rooms around it are cooling it or if it is cool outside. The AC in the main part of the unit does work fine. In the master (which is separate), It didn’t matter whether it was on or off, it didn’t change the temperature. 72 to 74° on the fifth floor in Myrtle Beach was too hot for me to sleep so I was unable to sleep with my husband in the nice master suite during the entire stay. This ruined the romantic part of our vacation. We alerted the management (both local and Vacasa) to the fact that it wasn’t working on the very first night (Friday) we arrived and then followed up with phone calls on Monday and Tuesday, but not only did they never fix it, they also eventually claimed (after I got a bit of a run around) that it worked and threatened me that if I turned the air conditioning to low in the other unit in order to cool down the master, they would bill me. I have never had such a bad management experience in my life with a legitimate company. I would like to add that they did change out the filter in the master AC unit. We were there when they checked the original filter and it was the dirtiest, filthiest filter I’ve ever seen and they threw it away and we didn’t even have a new filter for a few days. So, I cannot recommend this unit in its current condition but if they decide to send an HVAC company to service the AC unit, and put a little TLC into the other small issues that I don’t have time to go into in this review, I would recommend it. The hotel that it’s in is great with many pools by the beach and an awesome location. The unit just needs a little attention from the owners and management company.
