Sea Glass Cottage is a beautiful house with everything my family and I needed to make our stay enjoyable! We appreciated the excellent location within walking distance of downtown Beaufort and within driving distance to Savannah and Charleston.
This is a beautifully restored house (originally built in 1885). The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. We seldom used our car during our stay as we could walk all over the historic and waterfront areas of beautiful. Neighborhood was very quiet. We loved downtown Beaufort particularly the Superior Coffee House which is dog friendly.
Never made it to Beaufort due to the storms and flooding rains.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so sorry that the storms and flooding prevented you from making it to Beaufort. Great time, looking forward to returning to Beaufort and Hunting Island!
We enjoyed all the restaurants and the easy trips to Hunting Island state park.
The house temperature stayed at 72, kitchen was adequately supplied, beds were very comfortable and we loved the the screen porch!
Our family had an absolutely wonderful time! The house is beautiful and in a perfect location to stroll to the waterfront and enjoy the view and get something to eat. We loved relaxing on the front porch, watching the birds in the trees, and meeting people in the neighborhood. We are looking forward to coming back! Thank you!
We had a lovely stay at this home. It was beautiful! From the moment we walked in, it smelled very clean and was spotless! The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The only issue we had was the downstairs bed was uncomfortable. Hopefully, the owners are able to provide a more comfortable bed for that room. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We are going to have the downstairs mattress replaced. We hope to have you stay with us again soon!
We really liked the location. Perfect size and comfort for our group. A sweet houseWe thought we might have to evacuate for a hurricane. I called agency and got no answer. (We did not leave and everything was ok.)Later that day the power went off upsetting the security, alerting the police. Very happy to have call answered this time as we were not provided with code to shut it off with our previously provided information. The linen instructions in the email conflicted with a posting on the washer/dryer.We could not get Hulu, which was indicated to be available. It might help to note type of coffee maker.

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We’re so glad to hear that the home’s location, size, and comfort made it the perfect fit for your sister trip, and that you enjoyed the charm of the house and its outdoor space.
We sincerely apologize for the communication challenges you experienced during the storm concern and power outage. We understand how stressful that must have been, and we appreciate your patience as our team worked to respond during a high-volume time. Your notes about the linen instructions, streaming access, and coffee maker details are very helpful — we’ll be sure to review and update our guest information to make future stays even smoother.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re grateful you chose TideWatch Vacations for your getaway. We hope to welcome you back for another relaxing and worry-free stay soon!
Quaint and comfy! My big things are water pressure, good mattress and linens - A+ all day long! Such a cute little house and the location is everything :-) Our only complaint is seating. No table inside to accommodate a family of 4, which meant no games. So, that was a bummer, but everything else was really great.

Thanks for your feedback on the home and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are considering adding a larger table but are trying to find one that will fit the space.
Everything about this house was perfect. It was so clean, the beds were so comfortable and the location was amazing. We walked to dinner every night. Didn’t have to drive but once when we took the boat out. The owner had his login for the smart TV so my child was able to watch all her shows. There was plenty of parking. The neighborhood was precious. Already sent this property to my grandmother in hopes of going back for another family trip!
We definitely enjoyed our stay at this historical home. There were 5 of us and because it was an historical home, it was rather creaky on the floors and stairs. Really only a problem for the person sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. I probably should have known that it was an historical home but did not. The kitchen was smaller than it appeared online, at least in the table and chairs area, but was spacious enough for cooking and very clean and cheery. Bathrooms were nice as well. Porch was fun to sit on and watch the neighbors go by. Best part was the location. It was a truly a ovely walk from this house to downtown. Larger historical homes and ancient graveyards were extremely well kept and so much fun to look at. Downtown area was smallish but on the bay and there were plenty of good restaurants. SO much history in this little town and well worth a visit!
Nice house. Had a great convenient location. Neighbors were friendly. Home was comfortable beds were very comfortable. The yard looked very well cared for and bosted a fenced in yard. The yard was in need of attention and one whole side was not fenced in. I mentioned this because we bought our dog. The interior was clean; however, the outside patios and porches were not and we had to completely wipe them down before we could use them. Overall great place! Just a few items need attention. Would rent again.
