The two-story vaulted living room with charming knotty pine creates an expansive and inviting space. Your group can relax on the comfy couches and chairs while enjoying the fireplace and TV. Out on the front and back decks, drink in the mountain views from our home's rocking chairs.
Our kitchen is any chef’s dream. The stainless appliances and granite countertops will make this room a natural gathering area. It is equipped with a full sized refrigerator, 5 burner range with large oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, double sink (no garbage disposal), built in microwave, a large island, and plenty of storage. The island has seating for three and is open to the dining room and living room.
Gather at the large dining table, with its 6 chairs and two benches. It’s the perfect place to share your adventures of the day and create new memories.
The living areas in our home are all open to each other and create a feeling of togetherness.
The master suite on the main floor features all Aspen Log furniture including king sized bed, dresser, nightstands, rustic lamps and Samsung Smart TV. The spacious and luxurious master bath boasts an oversized jetted bathtub, separate shower, private toilet area, and double sink. There is no closet in the master but there is a large dresser and a hall closet on the main level.
More fun and luxury await as you walk up the solid wood staircase. Stretch out in the second bedroom, also outfitted with Aspen Log furniture including a king-sized bed, dresser, night stands with rustic lamps, and a Samsung Smart TV. Guests will enjoy a large closet and gorgeous views. Bedroom number three is our bunk room. Enjoy an Aspen Log queen over queen bunk bed, chest of drawers, nightstand, large closet, Samsung Smart TV, and precious cabin lamp featuring a night light feature. Then the fun continues in the upstairs game room. Watch the game on the 65” Samsung Smart TV from the pub table with four chairs. Little ones can get comfy in the two bean bag chairs. Play a game of pool on the gorgeous pool table or play a game on the log wrapped video game console. My kids have gotten great at Frogger! Two additional guests can comfortably sleep in Aspen Log twin bunk in the game room. Additional guests can sleep on the pull-out sofa in the downstairs living room.
Enjoy your morning coffee from a rocking chair on the front deck. The expansive back deck includes an EcoSpa E4 hot tub, a glider, and more chairs to relax and enjoy nature.
We have a flat circle drive that is fine for all weather. Enjoy easy access to our home with no mountain roads! Access to the decks is also easy. As you can see in one of the pictures, there are 2 steps to the front porch and three steps to the back porch. Given the home’s proximity to the mountains and the National Park, our neighborhood gets occasional bears who also enjoy the area.
We hope you love Bears Valley Villa as much as we do! Come back soon!
Thanks, Catherine and Danny.

Enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Exactly what we were looking for, comfortable cabin and pretty good location for a short drive into town and into the national park.
The cabin was great. It was clean on arrival and comfortably fit our group. We liked that you didn’t have to drive up a mountain to get there and it still had nice views and was peaceful. We would highly recommend.

Thanks for staying with us Justin! So glad y'all had a great time. We'd love to have you back anytime!
This was our second visit at this cabin, and we loved it! We love the spacious and clean cabin, and it is so easily accessible. It is very family friendly. We enjoy everything about this property and are grateful to have stayed here again. Thank you!
The cabin itself was great and so was the location right next to Elviras. However it was not ready when we arrived (which was after the specified check in time). And the cabin smelt like cigarette smoke all over, to the point that even the smokers in our group could smell it. In fact there was visible ash laying around in parts of the house.
This place was perfect for our large family(12). It was very open and roomy. The kitchen was very large and well supplied making it easy for home cooked meals while we were in town. There was also plenty of seating at the table for our whole family with room for extras. Parking was ample and flat. We had 5 cars and a 6ft. trailer parked on the driveway at times. Large washer and dryer. Kids enjoyed the video game and pool table. The hot tub was nice to come home to after our hikes. Danny and Catherine were very responsive and made our stay a very pleasant one. Any issues that arose were quickly taken care of. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back.
We stayed at this cabin for the first week in June. Danny, our host, was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The cabin is well kept and very clean. It has an open floor plan with a big screen TV in the living room. The upstairs had another big screen TV and a pool table which my boys loved playing. The master suite was great. The best thing was the bed. It was very comfortable. We loved everything about this cabin and would definitely stay again.
We can't say enough good things about our stay. We love being in Wears Valley, a bit away from the busy tourist section.
There was easy road access and parking for our 12 passenger van. We loved that there were no steep drop offs from the deck or porch; it felt very safe for our young children. The cabin was very clean and spacious. We loved the great room for family togetherness. Kids loved the beds, hot tub, and game room. Excellent hospitality from the owner, meeting needs we had and personally communicating with us. Highly recommended. We would love to return!
The owner is wonderful! The cabin was great- new, clean, and great cabin feel! No carpet! Great place to stay! Love the aspen log bed frames definitely a plus!
Our family had a great time relaxing at this beautiful cabin! The house was very clean when we arrived and the pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautiful and the pine walls are so fun! The kids loved the bunk beds and video games in the loft, and the adults loved playing pool. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and playing games at the enormous table. Watching fireflies from the hot tub on the cool nights was delightful. I enjoyed sitting on one of the porches early in the morning-even saw wild turkeys stroll through the woods! The cabin is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough that everything is a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to visiting again!

Thank you so much for staying at our cabin! We're thrilled that you enjoyed your trip and would love to have y'all back!

This was a beautiful spacious cabin. So peaceful. Very clean. Located on great roads. Close enough to the action without tons of traffic. Only negative was there was only the toilet paper that was on the holder so we had to go right out and buy some. Grass was tall as well. All and all a perfect place.

Thanks for staying with us! So glad you enjoyed the cabin! Thanks for the "TP tips" :), we will make sure and take care of that moving forward. Sincere apologies about the yard - unfortunately the rain just wouldn't stop for us to get it mowed before you came. It's back to normal now and will be that way for your next visit. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group.

Why they chose this property
Our family has enjoyed the peace and tranquility that the Smoky's provide in abundance. Exploring Laural Falls Trail is one of our favorites. We have also loved the entertainment of Dollywood, Goats on the Roof Mountain Coasters, Putt Putt, rafting, skiing, and Anakeesta. Our Cabin is tucked away in Wares Valley a short drive to the back door to the Smokeys, and not far from the parkway. It was built in 2020 and everything is top of the line. We love spending time here with our kiddos, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. It is our favorite get away to connect with family. We hope it becomes your favorite as well!
