The Vineyard Cottage is a terrific getaway, one-bedroom cottage. It has a roomy living space with a pull-out sofa, a full bath and kitchen. A front porch and large side deck all facing the lake and vineyard with outstanding views. You also get to roam the entire estate, along with canoeing, fishing, photographing the landscape and wildlife, and enjoying the nighttime fire pit by the water.
There is an outdoor propane gas grill. Guests should clean the grill after use.
You are welcome to roam the entire estate. Privacy will be respected on the 25 acres but there are three dwellings that are available to guests. You may not bring unauthorized visitors since they are not covered under VRBOs protection policies. Vehicles will be monitored entering the vineyard.
No unauthorized visitors or vehicles are allowed. Parties are not allowed in any dwelling or on the grounds. Boats must be pre-approved. Catch and release of fish from lake only. Smoking is not permitted in any dwelling on the property.
PET POLICY - We are dog-friendly. Your dog is allowed to freely roam the property. However, when in any of the cottages, like at most hotels, the pets, dogs, or cats must be kenneled. Also, for when guests go on to the lake or travel to town for dinner, we do have a large outside dog confinement area that does have shade and water. Many of our guests put their dogs there rather than leave them kenneled in the cottages.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are beautiful and the autumn changing of the trees and the lake in the foreground made for great memories and pictures. Highly recommend for those who enjoy nature and need to unplug.
Super quiet area! Rained prior to our arrival and while there. My husband did catch a few bluegill from shore in between rain showers. Brought our dog and that was great as he loved to walk the property with us. Holiday weekend so no wine tasting which was a bummer. Quick getaway was just what we needed. The cats are super cute. Meow Meow (black and white tuxedo) is a great property manager!
Last year I stayed in the corn crib on this property. This year I am in the cottage. Both have their pros and cons, but overall the property is gorgeous, serene, and everything I could hope for in a peaceful getaway. Love that I could bring my pets - so much countryside to roam and enjoy! Great communication with owner. Will definitely be back next year!
Definition of a gem. Everything I might want for a wind down get away. Will do this one again unless I just build my own lake and guest house everywhere I want to stay. Perfect.
Nice little get away! We stayed two nights, 30+acre pond with access two a canoe and small boat and fishing poles if you want to fish. Very clean well kept property! Beautiful views! Both nights we drank wine by the fire pit near the water and watched the stars, the sky was clear enough out there to see the milky way! Will go back some day!
This is a cute little spot. There are two other houses right next to you, but you still have privacy. The lake is pretty and the fire pit, fishing, and boats are all fun parts of this stay. If you are sick of the city, this is a good spot to go to!
