This charming house is nestled tightly in a hilltop neighborhood. It’s surrounded by other homes but has its own yard with a grill and doors and windows can be opened to the yard though there are no screens but wooden shutters. It is a country home so we encountered at least 3 large spiders and of course a few house flies due to there being no screens. Not an infestation just life in the country. We were well communicated with on the arrival and shown around the house. A book is provided with local attractions as well as what’s required at checkout though we were still not sure how to return the keys at the end of our stay. As it turns out, the time you tell them you think you may leave by is the time they meet to collect the keys. Things we encountered included a strong smell of natural gas when we arrived, a beeping noise on the second level that bothered our friends when they tried to sleep there as well as the neighbors being able to look right in 2 of the bathrooms (no blinds). We loved the architecture and the local feel of the place just be prepared for rustic in terms of conveniences (no clothes dryer only washer). Once you’ve accepted the quirks the charm is what resonates. The check in and out was also perfect once you know how it works and you follow the clean-up checklist.

What a very special home we were lucky enough to enjoy for a few days! Great location away from it all for peace and tranquility, but close enough to enjoy all that Vouvray and the surrounding area has to offer. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Alexandre, the host was very responsive to the few questions we had about the home. Highly recommend!!

Maison de charme bien equipée

Nous étions 5 couples d'amis et avons beaucoup apprécié cette maison de charme tres bien équipee, au calme et au milieu des vignes. Nous envisageons y retourner.

Parfait!

Tout était parfait. La maison est très jolie, très bien aménagée et très bien équipée. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la literie de très bonne qualité. L'endroit est charmant et est très calme. Nous avons apprécié que les lits soient faits et que le linge de toilette soit fourni. IL y a également à disposition un certain nombre de produits (épicerie, produits lave vaisselle, lessive), de quoi bien démarrer le séjour!

Très bien

Une superbe maison, tres bien équipée et dans un hameau calme. Bien située pour faire quelques châteaux et quelques visites de caves. Chambres tres spacieuses, 1 salle de bain au rdc et 2 autres à l'étage . Extérieur top, trampoline apprécié par les enfants durant le séjour. Nous reviendrons.

WE ds le Vouvray

Hébergement bien situé, proche de lieux touristiques (vignes, châteaux, Tours....). Maison agréable et spacieuse, très belle salle de bain. Bémole, manque de salle d'eau pour 10 personnes

La maison de halle et de richard :)

Belle bâtisse très bien rénovée il y a peu, endroit magnifique, calme absolu, proche des vignes, bonne repartition des pièces, jardin entretenu. La clim dans les chambre est tres appréciable à l étage en période de chaleur. La maison étant encore en rodage, il reste quelques éléments mineurs à améliorer.
