The private beach line and jetty with filleting place are shared with the neighboring house N16272. The nearby rivers Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva are considered good salmon rivers. In Sand there is a salmon studio with a glass wall through which you can view the salmon fish and sea trout in the salmon ladder. In Suldal unforgettable nature experiences, exciting attractions and cozy restaurant are waiting for you. In the Ryfylke countryside there are good hiking opportunities, and we recommend Hellandsnuten peak with its great view. After half an hour by car and ferry you can reach the popular destination Himakåna at Nedstrand, which is also called "the little Trolltunga". In Nedstrand you will also find a climbing park where the whole family can have fun. Otherwise, in Sand there is the Ryfylke Museum and an indoor swimming pool, and in Sauda there is a bathing area, a golf course and several stores. Day trips can be made to Stavanger and Haugesund and the Lysefjord. The owner also rents out bicycles.
