About this property

Chanceford Hall Bed & Breakfast - The Conway

This quaint 2nd floor guest room has a vintage mahogany canopy bed, with a queen size memory foam mattress. There is also an additional four post twin bed. It has a private bathroom with a walk in shower, located just outside the room. This guest room can also connect to the Cliveden Room, if it is available.

Chanceford Hall is luxuriously focused on the smallest details to ensure you feel spoiled during your stay. A lavish multi course breakfast is served in the dining hall on fine gold rimmed China as you sit on Rococo revival chairs which bring your historical experience to life, while you savor a menu catered to the season with the freshest local ingredients.

Enjoy a game of Horseshoes, Bocce Ball or Croquet on our over one acre grounds surrounded by stately trees and bamboo. Converse with new or old friends in our Veranda sitting area, lounge by the pool deck or just relax in the hammock enjoying the surrounding nature. We would also be happy to build you a fire in our Our goal is to help you escape.

Though our rooms do not include televisions due to our Colonial theme throughout, we have recently added a 70" television to our outdoor sitting area to make sure you can catch any important game or event, or just have something on the background. We also have a pool table, darts, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a large Jenga game, perfect for hanging out with friends or family after a day at the beach or exploring the Eastern Shore.

Exceeded expectations!!

This is a unique experience of the the best kind! Shae is gracious, funny, welcoming, and a very creative chef! We felt like we were staying and dining in a museum. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and a lovely reprieve after a day at the beach. We will be back and recommend this place to friends. It is worth a trip!

Delightful

Our stay was perfect in every way. Shae provided a delicious three course breakfast, helped with locating restaurants and places to see, and is such a wealth of information about her historic home. These rooms are exquisite accommodations, comfortable beds, indoor and outdoor games, to enjoy, including yard games and a pool table. We spent much of our time in the water on Assateague Island, so we never got around to using the pool in the backyard. Thank you Shae and family for providing a beautiful respite in your historic home. B

Wonderful historic B&B

My wife and I spent two days at Chanceford Hall B&B last week after looking for a location reasonably close to Assateague Island yet away from the bustle of Ocean City. We were met by the proprietor, Shae, who showed us around the well-decorated building and to our spotless first floor room. My wife claims that the king-sized bed was the most comfortable mattress she has slept on. The central air conditioning was quiet and kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with different items each day. It wasn't the usual eggs and toast but combinations of ingredients that were unlike any breakfast we've had. The only negative about Snow Hill is the lack of decent restaurants in town for dinner. I would recommend Chanceford Hall without hesitation.
