Welcome to this traditional log cabin, quietly situated by the lake Strynsvannet at the end of a dead end road. Here it is not far to Stryn Sommerskicenter, Briksdalsgletscher, Jostedalsbreen Nationalparkcenter in Oppstryn or to Geiranger (UNESCO). There are trout, char and eel (the latter protected) in the lake and salmon and trout in the Strynselva river. Visit Nordfjordeid with Sagastad, a historic center of the Viking Age. You should also experience the West Cape with the monastery ruins in Selja (12th century), the oldest pilgrimage site in Norway. Crib for rent (graits), high chair for rent (fee); order in advance.
