Garden seating area with BBQ in front of the house, with adjacent wooded property. Directly from the house a romantic pilgrim path leads to the legendary monastery church of San Galgano (6 km). Siena can be reached in 1/2 hour drive (35 km), as well as the warm thermal baths of Petriolo - a particularly attractive destination on cooler days. Monticiano with stores, ristorante, bar 1 km.

Wandern in der Toscana

für uns ein absoluter Zufallstreffer inmitten von einem tollen Wandergebiet, quasi vor der Haustüre, wohnen zu können. Die Touren sind teilweise anspruchsvoll, auch von der Beschilderung her. Pisa, Sienna, Firenze und Lucca sind gut im Auto erreichbar. Coop im Dorf war für unsere Bedürfnisse ausreichend ausgestattet.
