Great place to say if you like seclusion right on the lake. Great place for swimming and kayaking in the cabin made us feel right at home with everything we needed. Definitely planning on coming back to stay again!
Really a lovely spot to stay at the lake. The place is on a quiet finger of the lake that is just far enough out to be quiet and relaxed but still close enough that you can get to Camdenton and Osage Beach in a short drive. The pictures show the place exactly and the hosts were lovely and happy to answer any questions. Definitely a great place to stay!

Thank you so much! We hope you can stay again sometime!
Dont miss this one! Great host! Great location! Great sheets!
We enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was immaculate. The Boat dock/slip was well maintained and the host and their family were very hospitable. Morning coffee on the deck was a highlight for me, waiting for the lake to wake up in the early hours was the best. Great sheets, comfy, homelike place with a beautiful lake view. The hosts welcomed our diverse family and were super helpful.

We are so glad you had a great time! Thank you for the kind review! We hope to see you again!
My boyfriend and I spent a very enjoyable weekend at this property - the home was clean and we LOVED having access to a dock! It was perfect for what we were looking for. Our only note is that that this home isn’t directly off of a paved road, so be mindful if you drive a vehicle that struggles in gravel! Overall would recommend this property to others and we will be back in the future!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again one day. Thank you for the kind review.
My family and I have booked dozens of homes on the LOTO over the years at various locations. This place is very unique. We stayed over the 4th of July and they put on quite a fireworks display. Was truly incredible.
The mobile home was very clean and provides guests with the necessities for cooking/comfort. The deck provided a beautiful view and shade in the evenings. The dock slip accommodated our 22.5 foot boat, as well.
The owners were kind prior to and during our stay. They welcomed feedback to ensure future guests have a great experience full of memories!
This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Our kiddos aged 4-8 had the best time swimming off the dock, kayaking in the quiet cove, and swinging on the tree swing. The boat slip was super convenient. We love boating on this part of the lake and the kids enjoyed tubing and attempting to water ski without tons of other boats around.
Inside - The kitchen came stocked with most everything you could need. The beds were all comfy with plenty of bedding and pillows provided. Air conditioners worked great on hot summer days.
We will definitely be back next year.

Cabin on the lake
First time staying , great view love being on the water. Neighborhood very run down. But I’m there to be on the water have fun. Short walk to boat slip is great. Quiet nice cove. I saw prices have gone up place is not worth 165 or more. Driving thru I was like what did we get into.but it was fine. I would stay again as long as price doesn’t go up.

This is a country lake side cabin - it is rural. Prices went up because the price of literally everything has gone up. I am sorry you feel like the price increase is not worth it, and that you believe our property, which we have been working on now to improve for a few years, is run down, it quite frankly has improved a lot in the last couple of years. Our property is a work in progress and we have a vision.
The property is wonderful we had stayed here previously just wife and I.
We had a great time… we’re left alone and mostly peaceful. Stayed then a month later for memorial weekend.
WHAT THE LISTING DOESNT SAY:
The host stays right next door. Lords over your stay all weekend. The amenities that are offered are only available when the host and their large family are not using them. Which on the holiday weekend they were on the dock the whole weekend, never told us of the lights on dock so we could finally get dock time after dark, watched us use flashlights on the dock instead of communicating.. hosts sons watch you on the dock constantly.
Also- be ready to wake up at 7-8 am to leaf blowers, power washers etc. there’s no regard for the experience purchased.
Again- love the place but the hosts are horrible.
No hot water unless the host turns it on properly.
Expect surprise visits from unwanted guests. It is not YOUR spot for the weekend.

First of all, I am sorry you feel so strongly to say these things. We were nothing but nice and helpful to you. It clearly states in our description that our BOAT AND SWIM DOCKS ARE SHARED! WE DO HAVE 2 SWIM AND BOAT DOCKS AVAILABLE FOR USE.
Also, the instructions on how to turn up the hot water heater temperature is in the check-in instructions. The hot water IS NOT up to our discretion and we do not make people ask.
Furthermore, if you wanted to know about lights on the dock you could have asked us about the lights. We DO have a lake house next door as this property is about 5 acres and we rent several cabins in our little village. We also would have left the swim dock if you had asked. However, lets be clear here that our "large family" was gone most days during the day either doing other things or out on the our boat. You had plenty of time to be on the swim dock when we were not around.
The last thing you complained about is the power washer or the leaf blower starting up at 8 am. These were started up in the afternoon to wash off our Wave Runners, not early in the morning. Do realize we have other cabins in the area to get prepped and cleaned for other guests just as we prepped yours and made sure everything was neat and tidy for your stay.
I am also confused as to why you would feel the need to smoke pot in our cabin as we have it clearly marked NO SMOKING! When confronted about this and asked politely to not smoke you denied that you did so. It took several days to air out the cabin after your last stay.
I am truly sorry you felt the need to blast us as you have on here publicly. I wish you nothing but the best.
My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive vacation option to take our kids on an end of summer vacation. We found Ha Ha Tonka state park as the best option with its natural caves, rock formations and natural crystal clear springs. The only problem was we did not want to stay in a hotel. Thankfully we found the cabin on the lake. We were overwhelmed by being able to find a place to stay directly on the lake. We couldn't of hoped for a better location, just to be able to walk off the amazing back deck down to the boat dock and fish, swim and put some kayaks in the water was awesome. The cabin it self was very comfortable for all 4 of us. We didn't spend much time inside since we were taking so much advantage of the park and lake but when we returned back each evening we found a very comfortable place to stay. If there is any downside here it would be there wasn't a washer and dryer to wash our clothes. But really that is an easy fix just bring more clothes because who wants to waste precious vacation hours doing laundry any how. The water is hot the cabin has two A/C units and two Infered heaters if visiting in colder months. The area is quit and peaceful and sitting on the deck at night looking over the lake is just zin. This place really helped rejuvenate us both physically and mentally. And with the park only 20min away it can't be beat. Looking forward to returning and going back to the park to finish the trails we didn't get a chance to do.

We are so happy you had a nice time at our little piece of heaven on Lake of the Ozarks. Thank you for being our guest!
We loved this little cabin in the woods away from a big town. It was quiet and peaceful, the property owners were so friendly and the fishing was amazing!
My son lives in St. Louis and needed a vacation. My daughter and her son went with me as well as one of my sons friends. We are from Wisconsin. The weather was hot which made a great weekend for swimming and fishing. A great time was had by all.
Beautiful location. A little hard to find. It is a place on the lake so there's little things that might bug some people. Can't flush toilet paper, no internet etc. But if you want a place that's peaceful, quiet and right on the water to relax this place is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Thank you for your review Melissa! We are so very sorry you did not like the fact that you can't flush toilet paper - however, it is an old septic system and we are afraid of what some people may put down the toilet causing damage. Internet is a problem because it has not been readily available until the past few weeks. We are so happy you did enjoy our time and found it to be perfect for what you needed!
We loved the cabin and easy access to the lake. My kids had a blast swimming, kayaking, and fishing off the dock. We also brought floaties and hung out in the water for a while. Everyone in the surrounding homes, including the owners, were INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful when we had questions. We had such a great time and felt right at home, and yet, totally on vacation. Lol I definitely recommend this spot!

About the host
Hosted by Julie and Cory Craig
Cory and Julie are the owners and are from Illinois, however, Cory grew up on this property and we purchased it in 2017. Prior to that time we were renters here year round. We have slowly been improving the property and adding new cabins. This property is a gem and is family owned and operated.
Why they chose this property
Our little "village" is a quiet, well maintained, laid back get away for everyone. We take pride in our property and ask that all of our guests and long-term renters take pride as well.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique in the fact that a lot of our own family rents here year round, and everyone is always willing to lend a hand and help out with any concerns or questions.
We have a sitting area on the point to view the beautiful sunrises and the quiet water early in the morning. We also have a swim dock for use, as well as, fishing on the boat docks. We have some great Crappie and Catfish to be caught.
We also do a great fireworks show every 4th of July for everyone to enjoy.
