The location was excellent - close to the chateau, restaurants and lake. The property was OK, but a few things could have been better, such as better bedding on the beds (poor pillows and hot bedding in summer), the oven was dirty and the kitchen work surfaces were sticky. The host Edwige was super helpful and responsive, which was great. Overall I would recommend this property.

Excellent location. Nice quality apartment, generally well equipped although there were insufficient large mugs, (so we bought some and left them for other guests) and there were no racks in the oven (so you could only cook one large item at a time). Piano wasn’t there (disappointing). The two double beds were comfortable but the singles had poor quality mattresses that ought to be replaced. The shower was great and a bonus, as French holiday homes often have quite poor bathrooms. The keypad entry system was annoying and took time to get used to - an over complication when a basic key would’ve been better. The property manager was polite and helpful. The apartment was quiet with no external noise at night - not always something you can rely on in France. Location is ideal for walks, visiting historic sites (especially castles) and the countryside surrounding the town is lovely. The town is charming with friendly locals and useful shops and nice restaurants. Whilst the cost to rent the apartment was high, we were happy that it was reasonably good value, with none of the junk furniture that you are often lumbered with in French holiday rentals.

Propreté générale à revoir(extérieur jardin en friche et parois de douche tres sales) pas d'accès barbecue et jouets enfants!! La vaisselle et les verres horriblement sales..!!J'ai dû tout relaver en arrivant d'où une perte de temps sur notre séjour, la terrasse très sale aussi et les poubelles des anciens locataires pas vidées(signalé à Edwige par téléphone) La serrure extrêmement compliquée à gérer..!!Points positifs le calme et la literie..!!

Merci pour votre retour, et ravie que le calme et la literie vous aient plu ! Quelques précisions en toute transparence : la terrasse a été nettoyée au Kärcher peu avant votre arrivée et le jardin, dont nous nous occupons régulièrement, reste très végétalisé et pousse vite en cette saison. Je transmets néanmoins vos remarques sur la vaisselle et les parois de douche à mon équipe de ménage pour un contrôle renforcé. À noter que le barbecue et les jeux enfants ne font pas partie des équipements annoncés. Quant aux bacs poubelles, situés dans un local à part, la collecte ne se fait que le dimanche : les précédents voyageurs n'avaient pas été sortis le bac malgré l'instruction dans le guide d'accueil. Je reste joignable à tout moment pendant les séjours — n'hésitez jamais à m'appeler dès l'arrivée. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau ! Edwige – Your Sweet Loc
