Vista Velas Resort
Unit 1301
In the third story of a wonderful tale, there lays a perch from which the horizon can be seen in ways previously unknown; turquoise skies mix and intertwine with the steel blue of the Sea of Cortez and the ever-changing clouds that hang above, seemingly a breath away.
Entering through the door, a thin hall of white walls and deaf colored marble floors lead the way into this home, where the main plane opens and reveals a vast area flooded by the skylights and the impeccable views. Here, the kitchen, diner, and living room share with more than enough room to spare. From the stone counter of the breakfast table lined with iron bar stools and the beautiful kitchen that mixes minimalist décor with a wonderful modern style appears the diner, where simplicity seems to be the cornerstone in which the arch lays. A wooden table and eight plush chairs in soft gray fabric blend naturally into the unit, further showcasing the large windows that offer that spectacular view that only the Los Cabos skyline can offer.
In the living room, right at the edge between the inside and the deck, segregated from the salty breeze by the sliding glass doors, an L shaped couch in stylish grey suede sits atop a wonderful rug, marching in sharp contrast against the rich color of the wooden tables and fitments around it. Against the wall, a simple entertainment center props a TV set against the bare wall, allowing the mind to drift leisurely towards the sea.
From the deck, where a diner set for four and a comfortable living room overview the world, the panoramic scene seems surreal. On the left, white buildings and dessert scape are lined by the blue skies and the steel waters of the ocean, while on the right and center its sea, skies, and perfectly sculpted rock in the horizon. The conveniently placed shopping center seems to be an odd commodity in a place where nature seems to be prevalent before anything. Long pools are visible from the balcony, seemingly a touch away.
And back inside we go; this time stopping into the guest bedroom. In here, twin single beds share the space, where a fiery canvas of sunsets merging brings color to the soft tones of the wall. Its private bathroom offers a shielded shower of small white tiles, while the A/C unit and TV set extend their commodities.
In the second master, a full-sized bed in wooden frame takes the centerpiece, with confortable benches at its feet and side. Colorful brushes twirl and swirl in the canvas by the headpiece, while the closet and entertainment center seem oblivious to the colors in that square of cloth and brush. A glass shield covers the entrance to the shower in its very own private bath.
In the master bedroom, a king sized bed in the same kind of frame offers its delicate features and sturdy frame. Sunrise meets the sea in the painting above the headrest, while the wooden fitments shine in the light that enters through the window panes that overlook the deck and the wonderful sight ahead. The shower, encased in the wall, is guarded by a glass door, and further down, a large walk-in closet and twin sinks in stone countertop offer ample space to rest and consider the gown to don, weather strolling through the beach or shopping at the mall is the next adventure to take place in this land of wonders.
Welcome home.
