Cabin was as described, patio and beach access can't be beat. Close to all amenities. Wifi and TV could be better. We had to leave early unfortunately because of a family emergency. However looking forward to next year
Enjoyed the area, the sweet cottage, lovely beach, star gazing, local restaurants, biking to the tip of Point Pelee and the owner who was very generous and gave us a little history of the area!
Cozy little cabin right on the beach. We didn't get to spend much time outside due to weather, but they did have a lot of activities available to enjoy. We enjoyed that they had a pass for us to use to go to Point Pelee park.
My friend and I had a relaxing time at this sweet tiny cottage. Steps from Point Pelee. Very cozy beds with the wonderful sound of the water lapping. Gorgeous sunsets. Thanks Jamie for your hospitality.
My family had a great time.My girls loved playing on the beach with the warm waves and the neighbour family were super sweet. The proximity to the park was great. We will for sure go back.
Great location on the beach, beautiful sunsets, great that pets are allowed!
It was a good time to go as there were not a lot of ppl around which was nice.

We had an amazing stay! The owner was absolutely fabulous and very generous to my kids with letting them use his beach and water toys for the whole weekend. Even the other owners around were so nice and one let my kids use his paddle boat for the weekend! I truly recommend the green jelly bean!

This properly is so simple but that's what makes it awesome! It's got everything you need to cook, relax, be comfortable and just get away from the daily grind. The location is amazing right on the beach of Lake Erie with amazing sunsets. The lake was nice and warm and walking by the beach was awesome each morning and evening. The outdoor shower was an awesome experience and just added to the relaxed outdoors feeling. The proximity to Point Pelee National Park couldn't be more convenient, you can see the entrance gate from the road out front of the cabin. The provided park pass was a welcome bonus/surprise.
We can't wait to go back!
Great little cabin right on the water. Beautiful beach with lots of beach stuff available. Owners were very nice and relaxed. Quite small and it was bug season when I went out there, but I had a great time and will go again!

Needs to be decluttered. Cooking pots and pans in bad shape.
We loved to be so close to the park and the water. The outside shower surprised us but was convinient to use. We were also surprised to be so close to the neighbors and share space but after acclimatation, it was very fine.
I would go back any time
We had a wonderful 2 night stay! The cottage is tiny but has everything you need although it can be very warm. The view is stunning and the beat location! You will need water shoes as its very rocky and the sand can get very hot. The only thing missing in the listing is that you have to share fire pit, living quarters outdoors, outdoor shower and bbq with the other cottage beside you which neither cottage was aware of however we were fortunate to have amazing neighbors. All in all its a great place to relax and enjoy!
We stayed at this rustic beach front cabin with our 2 and 5 year old. It was amazing to be so close to the beach and the multiple seating areas were so great. The beach was lovely with beach glass along the shore and water always above 80 degrees. We were minutes away from the provincial park which was nice. The pass worked great.
The cabin and seating areas were spotless, but the sand was a bit messy, it would be nice if it was raked.
The cabin was all be needed to do the basics in.
The road was busier than we thought and very close to the cabin so we had to be vigilant that our kids didn’t get to the road without us.
Overall it was a great time for the kids!

Great sunsets
The tiny cabin was fine for two of us but being seniors we had some problems with the height of the beds. I am only 5ft and finally used a chair as a step up. Amenities listed an "out door grill" so we assumed we needed charcoal. As it turned out, it was a gas bbq with an empty tank so we didn't get to use it anyway. A storm came through that would've made bbq impossible anyway. It was unfortunate that we didn't meet the owners but maybe next time. The stove is a little scary circa 1960? but we made do with take out etc. Loved the outside shower! and you can't get better sunsets anywhere even after a tornado!

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for sharing your experience at our tiny cabin on the beach. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and the unique outdoor shower.
We appreciate your comments regarding the height of the beds and understand how this could be a challenge, especially for seniors. The design of our tiny cabin aims to maximize space and efficiency, which sometimes includes features that might be less accessible for some guests. We will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our accommodations to better meet the needs of all our guests.
Regarding the grill, we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience you experienced. We do have 2 gas BBQs on the property, and we ensure that the tanks are regularly checked and filled. If you had let us know about the empty tank, we would have rushed over to rectify the situation immediately. We will also update our listing to clearly specify the use of one of the 2 grills available to avoid any future misunderstandings.
We also understand your concerns about the stove and appreciate your flexibility in making do with takeout. Our tiny cabin aims to offer a nostalgic and quaint experience, but we will review the condition of the stove to ensure it meets modern safety standards.
We regret that you did not have the opportunity to meet the owners this time. They are often on-site to welcome guests and address any immediate concerns. Hopefully, on your next visit, you will have the chance to meet them.
Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future and provide an even better experience.
If you have memories of bygone cottages along a beachfront, then this is the perfect place to stay. Nan's Cottage has the building memories of bygone days combined beautifully with the modern things that we are used to. The backyard view is spectacular! Early morning coffee watching the suns rays dance on the gentle waves and ending your evening with a glass of wine while the moon beams sparkle on the dark lake water...a time of peaceful rest from an often frantic pace of life.
We had a great time visiting Leamington thanks to Paul. There was a small snafu with the original listing but he promptly made it right. Will reach out to Paul again if ever in Leamington. Highly recommended.
A wonderful stay! Has everything you need. We were just 2 people, but I think anymore than 3 people would be quite crowded in the cottage. Paul was a wonderful host. Water is gorgeous and the sunsets were awesome.
Simplistic accommodations, with a great breeze and proximity to the National Park.
The rental was perfect for what we needed, a simple place to lay our heads. The proximity to the National Park, and the park pass was the highlight. The beach was sandy with lots of waves. There was always a fantastic breeze, so the 30 degree weather was bearable, without air conditioning.
The owner was prompt to respond to any questions we had, but chided me, in person for my lack of geographical knowledge. 😕
Although not the owner’s fault, the amount of plastic waste in the lake was disappointing. Neighbouring renters were friendly. Bring your own towels for the outdoor shower.
Go to the Boardwalk marsh (in the park) for kayaking, and to catch the sunrise!
