The host was welcoming and very helpful. Lights flickering in front bathroom, front tub draining slowly, should have more than one trash bag available. Cute condo!
Everything about our stay was spectacular! From the communication of Stefanie, to the ease of check in, clear instructions on dos and don’ts during our stay, and check out procedures! Great location on the north end of the cape, right by the park. Great beach for collecting seashells and not too crowded even during the holiday weekend.
Had a wonderful stay. Property manager was very helpful, responsive, and courteous. Location was great - a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the bay. The multiple decks/patios on the house were great and the subdivision itself was beautiful. All you need is the Tradin' Post down the street, multiple ice-cream stands, and a few local restaurants and vacation is complete. Oh...and the WifFi was very strong so working from the house was a snap.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, and there were tons of beach supplies available for use. The neighborhood pool was nice and just a short walk.
I read the reviews before I reserved this place, and they were accurate! The place was spotless when we checked in. And the "checking in" process was simple! It was a roomy, cozy place, and we've alreadyade reservations to come back!
This property was a great way to escape! It has everything you need for a beach stay. The outside shower, beach chairs and umbrella, and kitchen supplies made the getaway even better!
We loved this place! It had great views from the front and the back and the walk to the beach was very close. It is a very dog friendly neighborhood. We loved that there were 2 king sized beds in both bedrooms. The main level was perfect for our family. We plan to book again in the summer! Thank you for such a great time!
While there was construction prior that left nails and screws on the decks I had to be cautious of, and its a tad bit outdated as far as the kitchen & baths are concerned, it was a great place / good beds / fantastic location in Barrier Dunes with easy beach access!
Tidy, comfortable and cozy stay convenient to all the best of Cape San Blas. Perfect family vacation spot with two beautiful pools, decks overlooking pond for bird-watching, and balcony with beach view. Easy access to beach by boardwalk walk over dunes. Best of all, to us was having enjoyment of natural coastal Florida while being in the Barrier Dunes community seeing other families enjoying the area.
The condo was extremely clean, well stocked, and was a short walk from the beach. We loved the location on the pond - water views from both sides of the condo! We enjoyed having a half bath on the main floor with the bedrooms each with its own bathroom upstairs. This was our first time to the area, and we definitely plan to be back!
The condo had plenty of space for our family and fur babies. The kitchen is well appointed and clean. The gas grill worked great. The bigger king room had plenty of space for a queen air mattress for the kids. The pull out sofa was also available, but we prefer an air mattress instead. It’s an easy walk to the beach and pool. We loved watching the turtles on the back deck! We’ll be back!
We enjoyed our stay at Cape San Blas so much! The unit is well appointed and roomy for our family of 4. We chose not to bring our pup but plenty of room for him, too. The condo has very easy beach and pool access, and the turtles in the lake were a source of entertainment every day. We definitely want to book here again!
I absolutely loved my stay and so did my pups! Dog towels were provided with dog bowls as well. I brought my own, but it was nice to have things provided. There were plenty of kitchen appliance and cookware making it a breeze. Plenty of towels that lasted us the week. I would highly recommend! I will be back next year!
This was a lovely property, well appointed and a very short walk to the beach. The condo had both views of a neighborhood lake and the Gulf. It was a great fit for our family and small dog. The property management contact, Stefanie, was very communicative. We would definitely stay at this property again, either for Christmas time or when it's Summer.
This place is so well-appointed. Everything you need! Kuering AND regular coffee maker, extra blankets, box fan and overhead, spices, oil, salt/pepper. Brita water pitcher in fridge, toys, chairs, umbrella, beach cart. Located very close to state park, coneheads restaurant across street. Short walk to beach. Super clean. Feeding turtles off back porch was fun. We loved this place! Will def stay again!!
We had a great faimily vacation enjoying our 2 grandchildren even though it was not the weather that we had ordered. It rained most of the week, but God was good and gave us a some breaks in the clouds to enjoy the beach and a horseback ride on the beach. Beach side was calm the last couple days. The bay side was so rough all week we were not able to put the boat in at all.
The house was comfortable for all our needs. We cooked all our meals at the house and found the kitchen was well stocked with a good selection of cookware and utensils. I will say the fridge was on the small size for a weeks worth of food.
I will address beds because to us that is the most important obstacle to a great vacation and is the reason I read all the reviews before deciding where to stay. The beds are on the soft side and our backs require beds that are firm, so our sleep was not the best and our backs were not happy in the morning. Still gave 4 star rating because beds are a personal preference. We loved that both bedrooms had king size beds and there was private bathrooms connected to each of them.
We enjoyed the downstairs porch overlooking the pond and our 4-year old granddaughter enjoyed feeding the turtles.
All questions were answered very promptly by our host. All in all vacation was enjoyed by everyone, except maybe our son-in-law who still went to work everyday, but only had a 5-minute drive instead of a 1 1/2 hour drive everyday one way.
Really enjoyed our stay. Residents we spoke with in the development were kind and welcoming despite us being short term renters. We were very impressed by the beach and our 2 year old mini labradoodle was in heaven. The condo was clean and well equipped and we liked the end unit location. Our toaster shorted out while we were there but the manager delivered a replacement the next day.
