The house was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few things that needed attention. The shower head in the primary bathroom was clogged and the handle was broken. The driveway had some very bad potholes, so I was difficult to drive up especially in the rain. The internet was very spotty and there were no directions for the TV in the living room.

Beautiful home in the foothills with stunning views of sunsets over Sante Fe. The home had traditional Sante Fe details along with gorgeous southwest art throughout. The outside landscaping was lovely as well and we enjoyed the covered back patio for all our meals.Moonstar felt very private and safe yet so close to everything the area has to offer. We highly recommend this VRBO.

The house was beautiful with great views of Santa Fe and the mountains while only about 5 minutes from downtown. Our only issues were the dishwasher and washing machines which required repair.

This is a great property with a lot of potential. The roof deck is the main attraction. What a view! There was nothing better than enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise over the valley. The house does need work. It’s currently for sale and hopefully the new owners will invest in the needed upgrades.

Super cool property - it felt like we were staying in an art gallery. The house is older but well maintained. Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful rooftop views of Santa Fe. Close to downtown as well.

Our stay was lovely. Homey, spacious, beautiful property and views. Super easy access to SF.Well furnished kitchen. Great kivas.Note: Door from kitchen to outdoor patio needs repair. It auto-locks from the outside, even when set to be unlocked.

The Property Management Company was responsive and did everything they could to help. The house is for sale and obviously the owner doesn’t care about what condition it is in for the renters. Examples: - TV too old to update for streaming- electric plugs in the entire bathroom that don’t work- no hot water in the master bathroom shower- shower doors about to fall off in the master bathroom - outside, rooftop deck, stairs, narrow, and dangerous- window shaped broken - no central air (may be common for area but mini window units can’t keep up)- lighting dull and dingy- living room furniture should be trashed. Anything with upholstery such as the fake leather couches are falling apart and shedding. - exhaust fan won’t work and doors won’t close in master bathroom- no screen doors so can’t open doors to cool off house. - lawn care was poor, landscaping not maintained. - drive way dangerous with rutsThe selling price is a joke for the condition the house is in and nightly rental it over priced.

We recently rented this house for a sibling reunion. We had two major concerns about this rental. The first was the condition of the property, and secondly the management making a price adjustment contingent upon a non disclosure agreement. The property is run down, dirty, and smelled terribly. Mildew throughout the house, dishwasher, washer, dryer left terrible odors. The furniture is run down, covers on the furniture stained. The staircase to the roof patio was not safe for older adults with balance issues. The staircase is in great need of repair. We left the property early and rented hotel rooms. We expected the management company to do the right thing and refund the cleaning fee that we paid and make an offer of restitution for rental fees since we left early. The property management after seeing pictures of the condition of the house, offered us less than the cleaning fee if we signed a non disclosure statement. We declined the offer. This home could be spectacular with the proper cleaning and updates, our experience with the home and management company was totally unsatisfactory.

Nice spot

Physical keys and 1 gate opener that you have to pickup and drop off at the management property is a bit of a hassle especially with a larger group. All around though it was a nice place to stay.

Moonstar was Great!

Only one small issue was the wifi. We had some difficulty with login, but resolved without contacting management. Had a great fire in the fireplace each night. Wife loved the large bathtub. It's a great place for our 7 that we brought. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, everyone had plenty of space. The view from the roof was fantastic.

Cool house with a great view and bad internet

We stayed several nights. The house is a great size and layout. The rooftop terrace is amazing. We watched the sunset every night. We would stay again. There is an “old house” smell when you first come in but we just opened the windows to air it out. The only issue we had was the spotty internet. Not a big deal unless you have to work. Overall, a great experience.

Location is exceptional

This home is signature Santa Fe—anadobe with tile and brick floors, big as throughout, with lots of Southwest art and decor. All the necessary amenities were provided. The only disappointments were that the blinds had no cords to let in the beautiful SF light and the dishwasher wasn’t fixed after being told a plumber would be sent. The fans and window ac units were very much appreciated and took care of kate aftrn heat before it gets cool in the evenings. All in all, would stay at this property again.
