LakeHouse w/ Great Views-Newly Renovated-private boat house/dock & fire pit

Come be our guest and enjoy our newly renovated retreat located on beautiful Lake Sinclair. Our Gathering Place is tucked nicely in a quiet cove but still enjoys big water views. Relax on our spacious, fully furnished, covered back porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and then enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sunset.

This open floor plan, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, lake front home boast a large covered deck with amazing deep water views. Master bedroom has king bed, smart TV and en suite bathroom with separate shower and soaker tub. Second bedroom has queen bed. Third bedroom has queen bed. Smart TV in living room and in our dining / game room there is ample seating around the table for game night with your loved ones, you will find many of the games we all grew up playing. This is an ideal way for families and friends to make long-lasting memories. Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, pots & pans, and everything you need to cook a delicious meal at home.

During the day enjoy the lake on a large lily pad mat or go out on the water on our paddle boards or kayaks (kayaks, paddle boards, & swim mat are provided). Also bring your boat or jet ski and tie off at your own private boat dock. You may launch your boat at our convenient neighborhood ramp just 3 driveways down. Grill masters can make their choice between a gas grill or Big Green Egg just outside the back porch. End your day roasting marshmallows lakeside by our fire pit that sits just steps from the waters edge.

Certain NON-SHEDDING pets are allowed but we ask that you are responsible for any damage your pet may cause. Message owner before planning to bring pets. Please do NOT allow pets on beds or furniture. Absolutely no wet dogs inside house. Clean up after your pet. 2 pet maximum. Message to let us know number of pets & number of nights so an additional payment request for pet fee can be sent. $50 PER pet PER night.

The Gathering Place sits at a fabulous location. We are just over an hour from Atlanta and easy to find off 1-20 and Hwy 441. We are a short drive to Eatonton or Milledgeville and only an hour from Athens, GA or 90mins to Augusta, GA.

The Grill at Crooked Creek, may be accessed by water or a 10 mile car ride.
Taylor's Cove, may be accessed by water or a 9 mile car ride.
Duke's Lounge & Dawg House, may be accessed by water or an 11 mile car ride.

Time for Thanksgiving

The Gathering Place is an immaculate vacation style home - even the yard. We like to cook, not grocery shop, while on vacation, so we appreciated the large pantry and other large closets. The amenities gave all ages of our family fun things to do.

Great Getaway

Very clean and organized. The setting was nice and the kayacks and paddle boards were a great extra. It was fun using them to explore the lake. Highly recommend this rental.

The property was great. Nice, quiet cove. Clean, kitchen well stocked. Dock was awesome. We floated on large pad, went kayaking and also rented a pontoon for a few days. We would definitely return.

Literally the best spot on Lake Sinclair!! The home, the yard, the dock, the fire pit and the back porch!! All of it!! Will definitely be back! The beds are comfy! The home had paddle boards and kayaks! I could go on and on!! Loved it!!! Loved it all!

Oustanding Lake House for our Family Lake Trip

Family has been going to Lake Sinclair for over 12 years and this is the BEST Lake House we have ever stayed in.. Great location on the lake.. Easy to get to by road and water.. Very nice, clean and functional dock. Lots of extra lake toys available, such as, paddle boards and kayaks. We highly recommend this house, seriously the cleanest house we have ever rented!! We will definitely be back!

Great newly renovated property, everything set up so you feel welcomed. The owner build steps to the dock, so we had easy access to water. The only recommendation for the owner is to provide a reliable WiFi. We bought an extender and made it work, Mark provided us with information needed. Thank you Mark, we had a great time!

I looked for a house with: 3 BR, 2 Baths, master with TV, on lake, covered dock or partly covered, easy slope to dock. This property fit my list. I was overjoyed to find that my drive was pavement all the way.

Weekend Getaway :)

Super cute and clean lake home with comfy beds. Love the backyard and view. Enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboards, and lake mat in the quiet cove. The home includes everything you need for a great getaway! Very convenient boat ramp a few driveways down (within walking distance) which made it easy to bring our boat. It’s truly a great little house. Owners were great and attentive but not overbearing. The WiFi isn’t strong enough to really work and stream tv - no cable, we really missed sleeping late due to thin curtains. Overall. A Sweet vaca.

Beautiful Property!

The house and grounds are beautiful. Our family had a terrific time! The house is completely newly renovated and the yard/dock area are immaculate. We had asked for an early check-in, but didn't get the door code until 2 hours after the agreed upon time. Kitchen could use more/nicer equipment (everything was plastic and only 1 of most cooking utensils, hard to cook a full meal that way in my opinion). We only had 1 garbage bag for the weekend. Had to use grocery bags once that was full. Overall a wonderful weekend, just some fine tuning that could have made it perfect.

A Fun Fall Break

Very clean, well-maintained, nicely-decorated rental home. This was our second stay at this rental & we would definitely like to stay again in the future. The weather was warm for October, so we were able to enjoy our pontoon boat…boat ramp is only 2 doors down which is very convenient. Beds are comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen has everything you need. Our family also enjoyed spending time around the fire pit making s’mores. The dock is also very nice & is located on a quiet cove. Friendly, helpful owners that respond very quickly to any questions that you might have. Very enjoyable, relaxing stay! :-)

The house is recently remodeled and super cute! We had lots of fun on the kayaks and paddle boards. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores. The cove is quiet with friendly neighbors. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxing Lake Time

My family & I had a great time at this property. Easy drive from Atlanta, great location on the lake. The place is nicely decorated & has great outdoor space: front porch with 2 rocking chairs and back porch view of the lake with plenty of sitting area. Peaceful, relaxing and great views of the lake. And an added plus to staying here is the 2 kayaks and paddleboards, which was a lot of fun. We also enjoyed playing corn hole. The owners responded quickly to questions we had. We hope to visit again soon.
