We had a fantastic stay. The teepees were not as roomy or “sealed up” as we thought, so with little kids it was complicated. But overall we LOVED our stay and plan on being back!
We took a couple youth up to this cabin site for a quick overnight retreat. It had TONS of space for all of us plus some. We made good use of the kitchen area to make great meals and then we had a campfire that evening and let them do s’mores, It was the perfect combination of camping, but without having to be completely “roughing” it. We will definitely keep this locating on our list for future trips.
This was the most amazing trip! A perfect combo of comfort (a fridge and a kitchen! not to mention some actual beds) and being outside and looking at the stars! Kids had a blast, adults had a blast! Everyone is wanting to return. No on played on their phone!!! Win win win! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Coza was a terrific guest, and we are very eager to host him and his friends again in the future!
This was an amazing venue for the reunion of two families and the best vacation ever! Plenty of places to sleep, nice big kitchen and dining area, air conditioned bunk house, fire pit and room for the kids and dogs to play! David, our Host, was an incredible communicator and very responsive to our needs. Teepees were clean and big, and showers were closeby. To note: We were pleasantly surprised to see a refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen, and a/c in the bunk house. Also surprised how fast it cools off once the sun sets; and we were there the last week of July, so bring warm bedding and sweatshirts/pants even in summer. Very few bugs, but there were mosquitos early evening, but minimally so. As a side note, the dump is only open M-Saturday 9-6, so plan accordingly when needing a trash takeout. All in all, I give this property a 5-star plus rating!
We really enjoyed this property and could not have had a better experience. Just be ready for mosquitoes. What a great place to have a family gathering. It was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed silverwood and Schweitzer while we where there also. This was an experience that I wanted for my family instead of always in a hotel. We will be back!
This was a great camp to get family and friends together for some fun. It was great to have such a large space to ourselves. The kitchen had plenty of space to cook for many people. If you are looking for 100% spic and span, look elsewhere, this is a CAMP! There is a fantastic hike to Snow Falls that is ideal for many levels of fitness as the trail is wide, well maintained, and not moderate in terms of elevation gains. The cabin had heat which was fantastic for the early season. It was a great experience and we had great hosts. I thought I had forgotten a really important personal item and the host was fantastic responding that they would be happy to mail back to me. We cannot wait to go again!
This is an awesome place with a helpful, communicative host. So much to discover, we're sure there are many more adventures out there- we just didn't have time to find them all. The weather was soggy and muddy but with the spacious buildings and warm bunkhouse we barely cared. Our only hesitation in leaving a fantastic review was a selfish tempation to keep this secret all to ourselves. We will be back, hopefully many more times!
Directions to the property would have been nice, half of our party got lost on the way up because the address is for the main house but the cabins are ten minutes down a couple of other roads. Overall, very impressed for what you get for the money! Such and incredible place to stay, we had bad weather and still loved our stay! Planning on making this a yearly tradition!
We are glad you enjoyed it. We are currently renovating one of our other cabins to a very high standard. If all goes as planned it should be available by Thanksgiving. Also, we now offer bike and snowshoe rentals, horseback riding, and our climbing wall is open!
We booked Caribou ridge for our son's birthday trip and wanted a secluded and adventurous trip, and that is what we had. There are many cool activities hidden in the woods and cool abandoned buildings with basketball and tennis courts that were open. If there was a downfall, there was no hot water at the campsite but plenty at the showers. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need also a huge mess hall. We would love to come again next year.
Great place to stay for a big family.... or several, but things you should know³
If you want to feel like you're in the "Parent Trap" or "Holes" this is the place for you! We were looking for an affordable rental to stay with 8 kids and 2 dogs, and this filled the bill! However, there are things we would have liked to know, but you can't think of all the questions, can you? First of all, while we didn't see any, you are in bear/wolf/moose/cougar country - be smart, be prepared! While we did ask if there was AC (I mean c'mon, we weren't "actually" camping) and were told "yes," we didn't realize that meant one bedroom, and one room that looked like a breakroom, not the whole cabin. Also, there are showers just a little walk down the road, but they are shared. Didn't cause any problems, but it would've been nice to know. Since we stayed in the summer, heating wasn't an issue, but the "heated" tepees are heated with a firewood furnace. Not quite as simple as pushing a button or turning a dial. Though it's pretty clear in the photos, it's not in the description, there is no oven. The stoves in the kitchen are camp stoves that need to be lit. We had no hot water in the kitchen, although on the last day we discovered what we think was a water heater that was "off," so that may have been any easy fix. The roads are rough and not always marked when you get close to the camp, but we found it in the dark without GPS (our phones were dead) so it's not TOO hard. All in all, if you like camping with slightly more conveniences, this is the place! We were happy with our stay and if we ever have cause to camp in Northern Idaho again, would definitely look this place up again. The owner, William was a really nice guy and we enjoyed talking with him. Dave was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Thanks for a good stay!
It's was great staying there tons of space loved that it had a kitchen and the teepees was great we all had a great time
