This was a great place to reunite with family members post deployment. Great location close to base, grocery stores and restaurants. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
We were in town to visit family and this home was central to our needs and had the items we needed for an infant so we didn’t have to bring all that stuff too. Hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond. Would stay again
Property was as promised-great place to stay for families. Plenty of room to move around, visit, watch TV together or separately. Beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets, sheets and towels. Kitchen was outfitted with everything you would need to cook and serve a meal. The house was clean and comfortable-felt like you were staying with family. The host was very gracious and informative. Would definitely try to book this property next time we are in the area.
You can rent a house anywhere but this place is a HOME! The Campbell’s were wonderful hosts and we felt so “at home”!
Thank you and we will be back!

Emily. We were happy to give you guys a home away from home. We could tell that you all enjoyed your togetherness. We wish you the best always. We will see you next time.
Quiet neighborhood. Could use some TLC to be great. Plenty of space. Disappointed the dryer didn't work. Very responsive host

Thank you Shaun. We too are disappointed by the dryer. We have a service request in and are still waiting. The guests just before you used it and it stopped. So very sorry.
Thank you for the feed back.
Property is as listed, In transition of what the house wants to be. Owned by retired Marine made our trip as we were visiting our Marine. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake! More than any other house we have rented.
Loved that the house was pet friendly so we could bring our family Cat, who's human is our Marine
Sally is definitely the hostess with the mostess!!!! This was a surprise family gathering to celebrate my sons promotion. Everything about this home fit our needs, right down to the firepit!!!! firepitfirepitfirepitthat we all
The house was large enough that everyone had their own space and privacy. Great areas for gathering and playing games. Having a Christmas tree up was a bonus! Saw deer in the backyard every morning. The backyard and deck would be amazing for entertaining. The owners were super responsive when we informed them of power outage (most of Jacksonville without power due to storm) and kept us apprised of status. Would definitely rent this place again!

Good for Families
The spaciousness, location and responsiveness of host were great. The house is much roomier than it appeared to be on the listing. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and centrally located,. It is in a cul-de-sac, so no traffic and plenty of parking. The host is good to allow larger get-togethers, so we were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving celebration with our family plus our US Marine friends who couldn't make it home. We greatly appreciate the use of the homes of others.
That being said, we were welcomed by a burned-out front porch light, so had to haul our belongings up the stairs and into the house in the dark, before searching the house for spare bulbs. There was no dish soap or garbage bags, so we went to the grocery on Thanksgiving day. The dishwasher was broken, the sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable, the beautiful back deck/yard had zero lighting after dark, the kitchen floor was filthy and there was pet hair everywhere.
This home has many Pros, but some Cons, as well. With some additional cleaning and attention to detail, this could be an amazing home.
Property was just as pictured and described. Owners were very kind and responsive. Loved the beautiful yard and the layout of the home was great for our family of six. Plenty of room to be together when we wanted and to spread out when needed.
This was a wonderful home for a family. It provided the space we needed for our visit.
This is an amazing home. I would recommend it for anyone needing to visit family. The personal touches really made it feel like you were home. Will stay here again on future visits.
The property was awesome. The house just was beautiful and peaceful. It was such a relaxing stay.
The process was easy and simple. The owners were so polite and friendly. The rules were like I would have written for my own home. Very simply, it was the best rental I have ever had.

Jean... thank you so much for the wonderful review. We will see you next time.
There were six family members in our group. Me, the grandma, my daughter, two of her children (ages 11 and 15) and two other grandchildren of mine (ages 11 and 17). This home was perfect for all of us. We could spread out and have our "space" from others if we needed; plenty of sleeping room for everyone. Plenty of extra pillows and plenty of towels/washcloths. We did, of course, do laundry daily because of going to the beaches daily, so we kept our bathroom towels/washcloths done daily also. Our communication with the homeowners was excellent. There were 2 TVs - one in the great family room and one in the living room, so THAT was a plus! The neighborhood was QUIET. We did see a dog in the back yard next door, once; but we never heard a dog bark, ever; we heard children playing once, but were not overly loud. This home is about 20-30 minutes from NORTH TOPSAIL Beach. They did have local brochures in a basket at the entryway for anything and everything that you might want to venture out to do. We didn't need a thing, that they didn't already have there provided. Plan to stay again if we have a large group again when we visit. Thanks for providing us our "home-away-from-home!"
