Tres bon sejour. Maison idealement placée. Cette station bal eaire est tres reposante car peu de monde et en velo, c est un pur bonheur. Nous en avons profité pleinement. La maison est pratique .

A great weekend

This is an excellent house, with plenty of room, comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. We brought our grandsons to visit the D Day beaches and memorials and this property is well situated off Sword Beach. The owner is very helpful and left a very welcome bottle of cider for us. Happy to recommend a stay here.

La maison de Béatrice

Très jolie maison, bien aménagée et décorée avec goût , au calme, très bien équipée. Parfaite pour notre séjour de découverte de plusieurs sites remarquables. Lovely house to stay

Good location near the beach and good placs to start and visit Normady. Clean and good house with nice bathroom and proper garden. Tv is located in the bedroom only which is a little inconvenient. Internet is finr although a little slow simce it is a mobile connection.

Modern stay in Lion sur Mer

We had a relaxing stay at the house of Béatrice. It is a newly build house close to the center of Lion and also the beaches. We have been able to do most of our things by foot directly from the house. Within the house we had everything needed to stay some days and prepare our own food. Especially the garden has been a great benefit in these days for the kids and for eating. We have been welcomed by Isabelle from the concierge service. She showed us around and gave us an introduction to the house. She was also our contact for the time at the house as Béatrice was not around. In regards to cleaning, for bed linen and towels we had to pay an extra fee per bed, set of towels and concierge service. We would have prefered to have this information upfront and maybe already included in the overall price instead of having these extra fees afterwards.

Anfangs war alles gut, aber…

Anfangs waren wir sehr zufrieden, die Wohnung war modern, gepflegt und liebevoll ausgestattet. Gerne haben wir den Wunsch erfüllt, die Blumen zu gießen. Versäumt hatte die Vermieterin darauf hinzuweisen, dass nur begrenztes WLAN-Volumen zur Verfügung steht. Gegen Ende unseres Aufenthaltes war das WLAN faktisch nicht mehr nutzbar. Zu unserer riesigen Enttäuschung hat die Vermieterin nach unserer Abreise einseitig einen defekten Fernseher reklamiert (den wir nie genutzt hatten, der während unseres Aufenthalts schon kein Signal zeigte, worauf wir hingewiesen haben) und wegen eines angebliche zu sandigen Badezimmers 50 Euro zusätzlich abgerechnet. Vorab wurde schon für die Endreinigung eine Gebühr von 80 Euro erhoben.

Nice visit

We enjoyed our stay at Beatrice’s property. We did not spend much time at the house, but it served a purpose. Well located for beaches. We did lovely day trips to Granville and Honfleur. Positives: The bedrooms and bathroom were very nice. Good shower. Great to have 2 toilets and a spacious entrance with hooks for all our bags and beach stuff. Bottle of cider welcome gift was a nice touch. WiFi was great. Great check in from Isabelle- thank you. Driveway parking. Negatives: The garden looked nicer and more secluded in the ad- there is no privacy at all and it’s overlooked on all sides. We did not use it. There is no TV in the lounge which was disappointing as would have been good for the evenings. One of the bedrooms has a TV which is quite small and we didn’t manage to change it to English. We hired bedding for the 3 beds. Not sure if this is a French thing, but we had to put it on ourselves when we arrived. That was an unwelcome start to the holiday. Would have been much nicer if the beds were made up.

Maison neuve très agréable

Accueil sympathique dans une maison neuve joliment décorée où rien ne manque. Location conforme à l’annonce et bien située proche plage. Idéale pour vous plonger dans le passé, en 30mn pour visite au Mémorial de Caen et à peine 1h d’Omaha Beach (cimetière américain). Merci pour la flexibilité arrivée /départ. Belle maison très bien situé

La maison est très bien situé pour la découverte des plages du débarquement et leurs musées. Très bon accueil par Béatrice la propriétaire des lieux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Je recommande cette maison.
