This is a very nice place. My kids who are all adults loved hanging out in the rec room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with all the bird feeders and hearing the birds. This was a great location to stay to visit Bryce Canyon one day then Zions another day.
Fantastic cabin with a great kitchen and wonderful amenities. Perfect for making life long memories with family or friends. The host was very responsive and helpful!
Excellent place to stay and enjoy the mountains. We saw deer, hiked, relaxed, and had tons of fun with family. It was a great location and we’ll definitely be back.
The perfect house to accommodate a large group located perfectly between Bryce and Zion. Just under 1 hr drive to each. You may think that's far but there is not much between the two parks. The hot tub was perfect after each long hike in the evening. The porch and hot tub have a great view and there were countless deers and wild turkeys around the property. I have stayed in many rentals and many have skimpy kitchen utensils and cookware but this place was well stocked. Would definitely return!
This property is in a quiet, private area of the mountain. So peaceful and we loved watching the deers, chipmunks, bunnies, and the baby birds in a nest on the deck.
Plenty of room for two families, comfortable. Kids loved all the toys and games available. The hot rib was a highlight too.
What a fantastic property! The home is open and airy with a view to die for (I legit spent every waking moment on the deck just gazing at the gorgeous view) - the house is well maintained, beautifully appointed, and has everything you could need for a holiday getaway.
I think we maybe saw 3 cars during our stay total.
The night stars are magical.
The host was so supportive and helpful - she went above and beyond.
I highly recommend this property and I am certain we will return.
LOVE it!
Beautiful house & views. Deer visited every evening. Centrally located between Bryce and Zion. Huge kitchen. Great amenities. Close to duck creek village for groceries and Hot Mama’s pizza! Excellent adventure for the family!
long weekend with our daughters and their families. spacious and plenty of room for the grankids both inside and out. Nice touch having a toy box for the toddlers to find something to do and a playground. centrally located for our excursions. Large kitchen & family room. Plenty of parking.
definitely stay again
This cabin was perfect for our group of 8. We had a truly wonderful, relaxing, and brilliant Fall Break 2022. The owners were responsive and thoughtful. The little touches like books and uplifting messages around the cabin as well as the general ambiance of "welcome and just be here" made us feel like we belonged.
Wonderful remote cabin with beautiful views and large kitchen. The deck was amazing! We enjoyed watching the birds & wildlife. The fire pit and the hot tub were a hit! We loved late night star gazing and roasting marshmallows by the fire. We had a relaxing weekend with all of our family for a Birthday celebration. Thank you very much! We would love to come back again.
This property was perfection! The space, cleanliness, the amenities, privacy and view! Before leaving we looked up available summer dates and will certainly be repeat guests! The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs! My only recommendation would be to bring a few extra towels, especially in the winter snow to be courteous not to track in water.
We had 11 people, and the house accommodated the large group really well! The living room-kitchen-dining area was SO spacious that 5-6 people could cook at the same time, and people could walk in & out of the kitchen while cupboards were wide open. Entry and living room were spacious as well, as we left all our shoes, hiking boots, & backpacks near the door and still had tons of room. Rec room downstairs was a fantastic 2nd hang-out spot & made for fun evenings playing pool. House was private, & we all had a great time walking around the quiet neighborhood (which is about 5 miles from Duck Creek Village). The 5th bedroom has to be accessed through the 4th bedroom (cuz it was a long, narrow garage conversion). Easy (25-30 min.) drive to Bryce Canyon. Liquor store, gas station, mini mart on nearby corner is very convenient. The basement had 4 of the 5 bedrooms, and again the size worked well. Every bedroom had a fan, and the hot tub & fire pit areas were awesome.
Beautiful property
Dirty house
Old food on the deck
Filthy floors
Rotting food in my granddaughters bunk bed
Stained sheets
Greasy stove
Empty propane
Very sad bc the house is beautiful and the lot is amazing
Owners….
Not so much
They were not responsive to our concerns and when I brought them up they told me I wasn’t a good fit and I should just leave
A generous & fair review insures good karma…
We were a large multi family group aged from 11-71 fully occupying the cabin. We stayed several days and enjoyed the chilly fall weather and nearby mountains. We utilized every bedroom in the cabin. 80% of the family found the mattresses comfortable. The pictures do not do the view justice. There is a variety of vegetation & wildlife to enjoy. The deck is spacious, and there is ample room to kickback inside and out. The cabin was clean & check In instructions clear. For a “family cabin” I found the place extremely tidy.
We attempted to check in at 3:59PM. We interacted with the housekeeper, I will generously assume she was having an off day. Once we entered, we discovered we were given only 1 towel per guest and there were zero extras. I did inquire with the host about the shortage. Blankets & bedding were also limited. It was unseasonably cold -we came prepared - but did not pack linens with us. The kitchen is stocked but some items are lacking.
I found communication with the host lagging at times - but that could be related to the limited cellular service.
You must haul away your own trash. There are are dump sites located in the neighborhood.
I picked this cabin for our special family trip and it exceeded expectations in view department. I feel our personal trip inconveniences could be easily remedied by the host through purchase or clearer communication with the renter.
Bring - paper towels - camp chairs & f.lights
The cabin was beautiful and the scenery couldn't have been better. The toys, books, and games for kids were so appreciated. The kitchen was huge and easy to use!
Our only real issue with the cabin is that we didn't realize that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through another bedroom. That was a pretty big disappointment as we were mostly adult couples. If the bunk beds had been in that room it would have been great! The kids could have been in that closed off room and the parents could have had the connecting room. As it was one couple had to walk through another couple's room to get to their own and that was weird/uncomfortable. The bunkbed room also has a door that leads outside that made having it a kid room a little strange as well. Just something to consider if you're bringing kids along.
Overall, this cabin was gorgeous and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely stay here again if the bunkbeds were moved into that closed off room.
Our stay was awesome! This place is tucked away in a great location. Cabin was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and checkout was very easy. Definitely recommend for any large group looking for a place to stay while visiting the parks!
