Great Smoky Mountain Hideaway! Near Dollywood!

Smokey Mountain Retreat! Glamping at it's best! Leave the noise & traffic behind but stay close enough to do activities in the area. Truly enjoy the peace & tranquility of the mountains, not just foothills, in a self catering, cabin-like setting with condo conveniences. This resort is only 20 scenic miles up from the main area of Pigeon Forge. But even closer is Foxfire Ziplines & Cosby for hiking in the Smokey Mountain National Park. Just miles down the most beautiful drive is Forbidden Caverns & a Trout Farm." So much to do!

This is a Self catering unit which helps us keep prices low. Stay int he Smoky Mountains at a fraction of the cost. Walmart is a drive down the mountain, so be sure to bring whatever you need food wise with you too. This is a nature experience! .

Simple little mountain home. Great for getting away from it all.

Lovely stay, accommodation was great, spacious enough and apartment was clean. Location was also great if you are seeking something away from the hustle & bustle. Quite surroundings. Loved staying here, will definitely do the same if we are ever in the surrounds again in the future.

I am glad I took a air mattress because the pull out sofa was very nasty and had stains on the mattress plus the bed in the bedrooms was uncomfortable made your back hurt

Hi Tonya-- The sofa bed has a mattress protector on it. So there couldn't be any stains. I have slept on the bed in the bedroom myself many times. Bed preferences differ person to person, but this a short term rental. No bed fits everyones normal desires. You didn't call us once about anything while you were at the unit. If there had been an issue with anything we would have helped you. Pretty unfair to be trashing us now when you never reached out. We've had no complaints about our sofa bed or our bed in general. It's a remote mountain resort and we price it accordlingly. In the middle of nature as well. Alot to be positive about, I'd say. And again, you responded to none of our messages to see how you were. Not once.

Needs repairs

Curtain rod in bedroom broken, 2 of the slats to blinds in bedroom broken, towel bar in bathroom was on floor behind door, transition piece on floor between bathroom and hall loose and came up, bathroom sink rusted and bed needs new mattress. Needs updating

Hi Joel-- As mentioned we had just bought the home and had not done any remodeling. The price showed that. You expressed no concern while you were there. we have since updated the home with new paint and new flooring and a new staircase, etc. It would help if you reached out to hosts during your stay and didn't leave a bad review for them afterwards. Really not fair. Especially when you got a much discounted rate.
