Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
We booked this property specifically because it advertised an on-site swimming pool. Properties with pools typically command a premium price, and our children were particularly excited about using it after seeing it from the property.Upon arrival, we were met by the individual handing over the keys, who gave us a brief tour before leaving. At no point were we informed about the WiFi details or that the swimming pool was closed.The property also has a significant mosquito problem and appears poorly equipped to manage it, with no window screens or other measures in place to help keep them out during the evenings.The listing stated that the property included an oven; however, there was no oven, only an air fryer. The property was also not stocked with basic essentials such as soap and toilet paper, which we would have expected to be provided.Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and feel particularly let down on this occasion. My wife contacted the owners to ask about the pool, but we received no response. We also spoke with the local tourist office, which advised that the restrictions affecting pools had been lifted five days before our arrival.What disappoints me most is that we were not informed before arrival that the pool would be unavailable. Had we been made made aware in advance, we would have had the opportunity to make alternative arrangements.
