Traditional villa and good value as budget accommodation

Everything OK on the basis that this is a budget villa. Could do with some TLC. Local host Chadien very helpful. Location good as only 5 min walk to beach and restaurants. Neighbourhood not great as quite noisy neighbours and plenty of barking dogs clearly not something the host can control.

Maison très bien située, proche des plages, des restaurants, des petits magasins. Nous avons apprécié le petit jardin végétal, la terrasse très agréable. Chambres et sanitaires corrects mais un bémol pour le coin cuisine très vétuste et pas suffisamment propre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le gérant. Quelqu'un de très professionnel et qui sait s'adapter à nos demandes. Nous le recommandons sans problème.Globalement nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Maison au confort simple avec une terrasse très agréable grâce à la végétation du jardin. Bon rapport qualité prix mais on aimerait quelques améliorations sur le confort au niveau de la salle de bain notamment, pour en faire une super location.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Chadien, qui a été très réactif à nos demandes. La maison est agréable, les chambres sont spacieuses et équipées de rangements et de climatisation. Le salon intérieur et la terrasse extérieure sont agréables également parmi le chant des oiseaux. Bien située, a moins de 5 mn à pied de la plage et des restaurants, à 10 mn du petit supermarché. La pompe à eau du voisin sonnait y compris la nuit, Chadien a fait le nécessaire !

Nous avons était accueillies par Chadien qui est très serviable le propriétaire du gîte Amritech a pris plusieurs fois de nos nouvelles. Location près de la plage nous pouvions y aller a pied. Calme on entend les oiseaux chanter juste un inconvénient les chiens du voisin de la maison en face qui aboient lorsque leur maitre est absent de la maison même la nuit. Nous avons passer un agréable séjour. Maryléne et Christian.

Cher Christian, je vous remercie pour cette visite. C'était un plaisir de vous recevoir. Malheureusement je n'ai pas été informé des aboiements des chiens pendant votre séjour. Dès la lecture de votre appréciation, j'ai fait le nécessaire pour que cela cesse avec le voisin et les autorités compétentes qui ont pour but de préserver la tranquillité des lieux. Après votre séjour, on a aussi aussi fait du landscaping à l'arrière. J'espère pouvoir vous montrer lors de votre prochaine visite. Amritesh.

Vorsicht: die Wohnung sieht nicht annähernd so aus, wie auf den Bildern. Himmelbetten existieren nicht. Im Wohnzimmer stehen lediglich 4 Korbstühle. Zwischen den Fenstern im Wohnzimmer ist ein 10cm breiter Spalt. Eine Einladung für alle Moskitos. Davon abgesehen bringt die einzige Klimaanlage im vorderen Schlafzimmer dann auch nichts. Die Fenster in den übrigen Räumen lassen sich ebenfalls nicht dicht schließen. Die Wohnung wirkt absolut kalt und ungemütlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und dem hier oft angepriesenen chadien war kaum möglich. Er hat sich schleppend zurückgemeldet und ist auf Beanstandungen nicht eingegangen. Es gibt keinen Safe. Gerade bei der Fenstersituation, gibt einem das ein schlechtes Gefühl. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr in Jahre gekommen und es bleibt ein unangenehmer Geruch. Das 3. Schlafzimmer (Kinderzimmer) ist quasi ein kalter Abstellraum, in dem hoffentlich ausgemusterte Matratzen an der Wand lehnen. Wir haben es dort keine Nacht ausgehalten und mussten uns eine andere Unterkunft suchen. Ganz klar: Finger weg!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt in mitten des kleinen Ortes Schönes freistehendes Haus mit schönem kleinen Garten. Die herrliche Frühstücksterasse wo jeden morgen schon zahlreiche Vögel warteten. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war einfach aber zweckmäßig und nach wenigen Tagen alles vertraut. Chadien unser Verwalter war wirklich jederzeit ansprechbar hat uns super geholfen, den Transfer vom Flughafen durchgeführt ,Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und organisiert Wir können ihn nur weiterempfehlen. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen

Nous venons de rentrer de notre voyage , et nous sommes toujours aussi enchantés! La villa des Manguiers est propre et confortable ( nous y avons fait plusieurs séjours ) elle est spacieuse et la clim fonctionne très bien ce qui est très agréable ! Il y a une super terrasse devant la maison et un BBQ . Rishi est un hôte très à l'écoute et très sympathique avec une très grande réactivité . Et puis sur place vous avez Chadien ( toujours souriant ) qui vient vous chercher à l'aéroport et qui se met en quatre pour vous faire plaisir et résoudre les petits problèmes que vous pourriez rencontrer . La villa est très bien situé, proche de la mer avec une super plage ,des restaurants des commerces et des bus. C'est toujours avec regrets que nous partons . Je vous recommande vraiment la villa des Manguiers , vous y passerez des vacances inoubliables ......

L'accueil dans la maison a été au top. Tout était propre et conforme à nos attentes. Après une longue nuit d'avion, c'était très appréciable. La maison est bien entretenue, tous les équipements fonctionnement parfaitement et le descriptif est tout à fait exact. The base of great vacation.

I've been coming there for years. For me it's got everything i'm looking for. I go there with my kids. It's the right size, not to big so you can still supervise but big enough that everybody can be doing their thing without disturbing each other. The privacy factor is a big plus. You can have breakfast in the garden, park your car , play music without disturbing neighbours and so on. If you like cooking you definitely can because everything is there. But if you don't, there are lots of restaurants near by. I can do my early morning run or walk on the beach, do an excursion and because it's so close to the beach we can still spend some time there when we return in the late afternoon . if you just want a beach day then the outside shower is also convenient. The sice is easy to keep clean,but if you don't wanna do it yourself Chadien can also provide someone for that. He can also pick you up at the airport after a tiring flight,get you a car , fix excursions, any problem that might be, he wil solve it as quickly as possible. The owner Rishi is also very friendly. I've booked late so i couldn't stay the whole month and he really went out of his way to find me a solution. If you're looking for 5 star luxury then there are more then enough alternatives in Mauritius(and matching prices!). But if you're looking for something with a sharp price,with everything there that needs to be, a perfect location and most importantly warm , friendly people who really care about you having a good vacation, then this is the place.

Maison propre spacieuse et très bien située, proche de la grande plage de flic en flac et des bons restaurants. Séjour très agréable, n hésitez pas à rencontrer le voisinage proche pour les bons plans d' excursions :merci à Bangary et Salim pour leurs aides. Un grand merci aussi à Chadien pour le transfert aéroport villa et ses conseils. Nous conseillons cette location idéalement située pour visiter l île Maurice.

Villa spacieuse, très bien placée, dans une rue calme à quelques minutes à pieds de la belle plage de Flic en Flac et de plusieurs petits restaurants très sympathiques. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse ! Super accueil par Chadien qui est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et nous a emmenés au supermarché pour les courses du premier soir... A recommander !

Lovely villa in Flic-en-Flac close to the beach

September is the beginning of spring in Mauritius. We highly recommend you a spring vacation on this remote island - the weather is comfortable, the water in the ocean is gentle and warm. We spent the last week of our holiday in Flic-and-Flac, that has one of the best beaches on the island. This villa is 150 meters from the beach. The villa has everything for a comfortable stay - quiet, secluded, beautiful. Everything in the villa is thought out, clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with our choice. Many thanks to Chadien, the local prpoperty manager. His attention, care, and help helped us see the most interesting places on the island (he is an excellent driver and guide), solve emerging problems (for example, passing the next COVID test in preparation for our departure!). He organized an amazing boat trip for us - swimming with dolphins will be one of the most vivid memories from Mauritius. He was always in touch, which is very important when you are in a foreign country. If I could give 6 stars for communication with the property manager, I totally would. Chadien, heartfelt greetings from Russia.

Great property with everything you need. Close to beach, supermarket and restaurants. Good safe area. Airport transfer with Chadien was perfect - he even took us to the supermarket on arrival. I would use him for any trips, taxis etc, - where-ever a driver is needed.
