I had an absolutely wonderful time! It’s a beautiful location with great amenities — I highly recommend booking this spot with family, friends, or coworkers!
Gathered as a family for my mother‘s 90th birthday. There was 14 of us, and the house was a perfect size so that everybody could find a nice place to sleep, and also escape to a little corner and get some quiet time if they wanted. The view is absolutely stunning, and the house is definitely set up for entertaining. We found everything we needed for cooking our meals, baking a cake, and plenty of glasses, silverware, plates, and bowls, for all of us to use.We came during a cold time of the year, would love to rent this house again sometime in summer, so we can make use of the pool. The property was conveniently located a few miles from Suncadia, so we were able to go there for a spa day and use their hiking trails. It was also very close to Roslyn, and CleElum, both very cute little charming country towns. With a Safeway grocery store very close by, we were able to find any ingredients that we had forgotten at home. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to gather with a large larger group.
We had a fabulous time on our stay. The host was very responsive, the check in process was a breeze, the property is amazing and the accommodations were perfect for a group of our size. I would definitely stay here again.
This lodge was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owner was very helpful. The pool was clean and we had an amazing time. Absolutely would stay here again
We had a great summertime stay with a group of friends. The pool on a sunny day by the river was wonderful. We cooked all weekend and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and was nice they have a second fridge and oven in the pantry. Definitely would recommend and come back again!
We had a great stay at Riverfront Escape. We had our whole family and it was accommodating for all of us. Bring some bug spray, mosquitoes are bothersome. This beauty of a house needs a little TLC, but we felt like we had our own little resort. Upper part of the house got a little warm in the afternoon, but downstairs stayed nice. Thanks for having us all!,
Wonderful location, very private and great view of the river. We spent a ton of time in the pool and hot tub, game area was also a hit with all ages although the tables are a bit warped. House is very well equipped and size worked great for 4 couples and kids. Would definitely recommend this property!
We enjoyed the property. The outdoor space was priceless. Some of the outlets didn't work and there was only two towels in the master for our length of stay. We will be booking this place in the future.
Our time with family & friends couldn't have been any better. The location, size and layout of the house worked perfectly for our group. Marcie was very responsive and the whole process was a breeze.
This was perfect for our family with 6 adults and 7 kids (with room to spare!). Loved all the space so we could spread out! The home was very clean. A few things around the house and deck/pool are in need of some updates, but nothing that impacted our stay. We would definitely come again.
Great house for our group! Kitchen is stocked nicely with dishes, pots and pans etc for dinners. Pool, hot tub, fire pit and game tables were a big hit with our group and provided activities for the kids while the adults relaxed.
The property is nicely secluded but there are stores and amenities nearby which was nice.

First mention in this rating is that the property was plenty big for our family of 11! The Great Room was the biggest that I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately, not all was perfect hence the OK rating. Great Room Fireplace (center piece of room) was not functional. Many lights throughout house were not functional. One of the sinks in downstairs bathroom was leaking. Had some issues trying to get hot water on other downstairs bathroom that required running hot water on sink. The game systems (pool table, foosball, skeet) were a bit "weathered" but still functional. Otherwise, the place was gorgeous, property was gorgeous and our family made the best of it.
House was spacious, comfortably slept 16. The river view was beautiful and the pool got a lot of use! I think it was 8 minutes to the Cle Elum Safeway so very convenient location yet tucked away from too many neighbors. Lots of space for yard games etc and the deck is huge. Multiple refrigerators and an ice maker in the bar was appreciated. Plenty of parking. We had a great time!
We pulled together extended family to have a great thanksgiving at the property. It had everything we needed in terms of space, amenities and location. Plenty for everyone to do and plenty of space to do it. The beds were all very comfortable and there were plenty to go around. The view off the deck is beautiful. The whole place feels secluded and special without being very far from yown if you need to run and grab something real quick. Just a fantastic time all around.
We had 10 guys come together and had a great time. The setting is perfect for that amount of people and we were able to relax and enjoy the space. The fireplace in the great room was an awesome touch. The rooms are nice and everything was clean and working. No complaints, and we will look to use it again in the future.
Picturesque home and scenery as well as a great location. Only downside was all the pool cues were broken so we traveled to Yakima to buy our own to use for the weekend. (My husband did fix the tip on one of the house cues!) Great amount of space for our large family to spread out. The house is a little dated, so not as squeaky clean as some would like, but that didn't bother us so much! We had a fantastic time!
Great home- roomy and well laid out. Pool area is fantastic. There are some areas that need some love (the deck) but did not impact our stay. The river was not accessible during our stay for floating or fishing as the flow was high and the bank was not amenable, but it was gorgeous. The owners/managers super responsive and tried to help with the mosquito issues at night due to the increased river flow/marsh area on the far side. The mosquitoes were not an issue during the day.
Fantastic. Everything was perfect. Well stocked kitchen; Extra fridge; Very clean; Great beds. And the pool! It was fabulous. We spent all our time in it. Hot tubs were great. Outside furnishings were perfect. Marci was quick to answer any questions. Best place we have all stayed as a family - 10 adults and 4 kids. We are returning next year! Thank you!!!

Nice house for a big family. Although, I was expecting more for a luxury listing . Hot tub on the deck wasn’t working, it never heated up and we were there 3 days. Deck has snow and ice all over. Hot tub by the pool wasn’t very hot, manual didn’t have any instructions to turn it up. Downstairs toilet in small bathroom leaked. Smallest Sink in the other downstairs bathroom leaked. Jets in tub in primary suite upstairs didn’t work. Windows don’t have any window coverings in the bedrooms. Fireplaces didnt work, flipping the switches didn’t turn them on, the main fireplace leaves the great room Smokey. We had to shut it off. As for vrbo, I tried numerous times to get help making an additional payment and to this day no one has returned my call or fixed the situation. I had to pay outside of the vrbo app.
We had 12 people here for our family reunion including two small children. This property was the perfect size for our group and the location and setting were beautiful! The layout of the house is great with all of the sleeping rooms (accept the primary bedroom) downstairs and the kitchen/living/dining/bar/library on the main floor. The weather was very hot while we were there in August and the upstairs AC had trouble keeping up. It got pretty warm inside on the main floor but the downstairs remained very cool and lovely. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and small appliances. It has two ovens, two cooktops, and two refrigerators (although the second fridge seemed to have some trouble). As other reviewers mentioned, this place could use some TLC. The carpet in the primary bedroom needs replacing and both of the two outdoor BBQs were quite rusted and we didn’t feel safe using them. However, the pool area was fantastic and everybody loved it!
Outstanding location and layout, but it has seen better days. Great options for sleeping and dining and gathering. Well supplied kitchen, although the pots/pans definitely need replacing. The pool is nice, but at this time of year it is too cold to use as it loses heat because the plastic cover is disintegrating and can’t be used. Every pool cue has lost its tip and the felt is in poor condition - the table was thus useless. Two ovens and refrigerators are awesome. Deep cleaning is needed. Cobwebs, floors - although bathroom, counters and linens were clean. Grout on the kitchen counters is in bad shape. We suggest the owners go through it carefully with a “Handyman” as most items would be easily fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but strongly recommend some TLC.

2 million dollar fixer upper
Let's put it this way My wife called it a 2-million-dollar fixer upper. And it sums it up perfectly. The house is in need of some TLC...Painting, carpet cleaning etc. Kitchen cooktop fan when lifted had food particles under it. Grout missing from around kitchen sick and food particles were in grooves, windows with blown seals. Doors that don't work properly. 2 of the propane tanks were empty, found a full one under fireplace but couldn't get BBQ to light. If power goes out (extremely rural area, I was told) be aware the toilets will not work, had to haul water from spa to flush. Pool and spa had a lot of dirt on bottom of them. For the price I'd look elsewhere around Cle Elum!
