Constant smoke detector problem

First morning, smoke detectors went off. Nothing was burning. Facility maintenance discovered detector was not connected to master alarm system, creating a safety issue. He reconnected. Second morning it went off again and wouldn’t stop. Reported to VACASA. When we checked in there was a bad smell, which eventually went away. Then returned the next night. Condo and building were very nice. Problem was with unit management.
