Steven’s Springs Lodge is a 2,600+ square foot mountain vacation home situated on 15-acres. This real log cabin in the OG of all the cabins in the area and is nestled in a secluded valley overlooking a private 2-acre stocked spring-fed pond. Pet friendly. • NO SMOKING *This cabin is a renovated old fishing lodge with the log cabin realness left intact. It is priced accordingly for it's patina and layout, be prepared for a real cabin experience!

The property was very welcoming. We stayed with 5 other couples for a quick birthday trip. The only "downside" was the creaky floors BUT I believe the cabin is older. This was not a deal breaker because we spent a majority of our time on the amazing patios in the hot tub and the top deck over-looking the pond view. We would stay again for sure and our guest said the same!

We had a great time !! Cabin was very clean and plenty of room to spread out Loved the pond caught some fish and enjoyed the hot tub !! Look forward to coming back again

We had a family of 10 and all ages. We ALL had a fantastic time and no one wanted to leave! The cabin was clean and spacious for our big group! We would definitely come back!

Awesome quite place. We did have a little trouble finding but called and manager graciously lead us right to it. Hochatown has become crazy to navigate on the weekend though with all the new business.

Overall, we had a great time. Plenty of room. A fishing pond right off of the back decks. One guest caught a 3.5 lb lg mouth Bass, and released it back into the pond. Plenty of room for 12 of us.

Beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful time with the family here. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the turtles in the pond outside from the second floor balcony. A little hard to find in the dark, but it was worth it!

The house was accommodating to the 10 people that we had, nice location, caught fish in pond, comfortable beds and was pet friendly. However, the floors were very squeaky for the people staying down stairs. they heard every step we took upstairs.

Can’t say enough about the host’s hospitality and communication. We had a winter storm come through during our stay which made it very difficult to check out and leave on our last day, however, the host was accommodating and allowed us to stay an extra day no questions asked. The property was perfect for our small group and would have accommodated more if we had needed. Just be aware the downstairs bedrooms all share a bathroom and you have to come through the Master 2 to access the bathroom. This works great for families but may be awkward for separate couples. Otherwise the place served our needs perfectly. The hot tub was a godsend during the cold weather. Definitely would recommend to small groups and large families.

The distance to town is about the only good thing about this place. Just know that the squeakiness floors are HORRIBLE! this cabin doesn’t have a restroom outside any of the bedrooms so just know if you need to go you will have to walk in through one of the bedrooms. No privacy. The staff will not answer text messages so just keep in mind that if you need anything you will have to call them during office hours.

The cabin was clean upon arrival. Check-in process was very easy. This is an older cabin, therefore the wooden floors are VERY squeaky so those who sleep on the lower level will hear EVERY step from above. Plenty of plates and glassware in kitchen, however a lot of the kitchen cookware could be updated.

Great Location

We really liked this stay other than a few things. A lot of the reviews before the trip mentioned things like kitchenware, towels and ice, which they did fix and was really nice to have! There was a large variety of things to use in the house which made the stay really nice. The only issue we had was the air in the upstairs bedrooms, it was very warm and could have been better, but cold everywhere else. Other than that our stay was great for a group of 8!

Beautiful home and location

We really enjoyed our stay! Very quiet and relaxing. The beds were not the most comfortable especially the one in the master bedroom. We loved having a pond to fish in and watch the wildlife visit but the trails down are very steep! The home is pet friendly but be aware that there is no grass on the property so that may be an adjustment for your furry friend. We loved the huge kitchen but were disappointed that some of the basics like ice maker, salt, pepper and coffee etc that we normally find in vacation rentals were not available here. The hot tub was nice but could use some maintenance as some jets don’t work and the water seemed a little dirty. We loved the outdoor fire pit and ancc to the gas grill! Overall the house itself and location more than made up for the few shortcomings!

This property was just as advertised in that it backed up to a pond (that had at lots of fish!), was a nice property and had ample amount of beds. Check in was difficult (the code didn’t work and the cleaning lady was there 40 minutes after check in time). Management was easy to get a hold of, but seemed annoyed. The cabin is not stocked like a lot are with basics like sugar, but we managed. This house also had some of the loudest, squeakiest floors we have ever heard. If one person is up the whole house is, which made it difficult with our young children. This house would be good for older kids for sure (just bring your own sugar)!

There were bugs all over the night stand in the master bedroom up stairs and some on the bed. Looked like they were killed with a spray and just left there. The toilet in master bedroom up stairs started running constantly after being flushed one time. It took a few calls to get a hold of someone to have the key code changed because it didnt work when we got there. Floor are super squeaky.

Good for large groups

Great location, the property was nice and views of the trees and pond were wonderful. The only thing that we weren’t expecting was that all the bedrooms in the lower level were connected you couldn’t get to any bathroom or living spaces without going through someone’s sleeping area . So no in-house privacy. However for the price and location it was nice and accommodatable for large families! The hot tub was very nice and the two decks were so enjoyable.
