About this property

The Hideaway EaDo with hot tub!

Trendy townhome in the heart of East Downtown minutes away from Downtown and Convention Center. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Great floor plan for the entire family. Walking distance to East End Hardware, Brothers Tacos, Roots, Nancy's Hustle & East End Backyard! Close to Public transportation and a quick drive to all the hotspots around the city.

Our home is a trendy 4-story townhome with an amazing roof top patio view of downtown in the hip EaDo community. We are centrally located and a quick 3-minute drive to several top locations in the city. The kitchen provides cookware, coffee maker & toaster if you would like to cook at home instead! The home has a side yard with your very own private hot tub!!

The space

The space allows for small gatherings but any group size over our limit of 8 must be negotiated or anyone extra will be evicted. We monitor incoming traffic with external security cameras. We are very strict about this.

~ Parking available in 2 car garage or directly in front of the garage. No more than 3 cars are allowed in our community per reservation. This is a gated community and towing is enforced! Please do not test the neighbors.

We feature a 6 person hot tub in our back yard. Please keep this covered when not in use. No glass allowed in it for any reason! We have the water treated and cleaned every Friday. If we have to drain & refill due to your group we will automatically charge you $250!

Check in anytime after 4pm with smart lock key less entry.

Other things to note
Be mindful of the neighborhood environment which has a quiet family-type vibe… so please be considerate of our neighbors, especially at night.

We ask that you please treat the space with care, and remember this is a home not a hotel. Any problems that arise, we aim to take action ASAP to make your stay as peaceful and enjoyable.

Great Times

Great times, Good communication with property Mngt., my family had a ball jacuzzi, plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay, quiet neighborhood, felt very secure.

It was a wonderful stay, the unit is very spacious and comfortable. we each had our own room and bathroom which is what we wanted when we needed our privacy and wind down for the day. The view from the balcony was amazing especially at night, very peaceful. I had read other comments from people bout it being a hassle when it came to opening and closing the garage, to us it wasnt a big deal. I do say this though, even though its a great place to stay at, do not book this unit if you have elderly people or anyone that has mobility issues, the stairs are a workout. Other than that, we would definitely book again!

Nice!

The house is better than expected and clean. We like the white bedsheets and comforters. Not the gray in the photos. Wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub. The location was perfect for us to go to places.

Stunning Houston Home!

No issues! Amazing property with a beautiful kitchen, great rooftop views and lots and lots of space with beautiful bathrooms. There is also a hot tub. This is probably one of the best Vrbo's we've ever stayed at. Thanks!

Girls Weekend in Houston

Pros: Easy check-in, adequate space, gated complex, good communication with manager, fun décor, manager had new air mattress and pillows delivered when told there were issues, great view of downtown, comfortable mattresses. Cons: Sketchy neighborhood, neighbor across from us had camera facing our way the entire stay. Interior: smelled like marijuana on entry floor, dirty/scuffed up walls, no hand towels, no pillows on all beds (manager had pillow delivered), air mattress deflated (manager had new air mattress delivered), inadequate seating in kitchen, inadequate supplies (paper towels, etc) in the kitchen Hot Tube: dirty, loose trash on the ground Rooftop Balcony: no propane in fire pit

Never Again ..Really

We arrived to the house there was a strong marijuana odor.reached out to the manager no response.All the comforters had stains on them and weird smells.the front gate was broken and unsecure.There we’re staIns on the washcloths and towels.the house was not cleaned when we arrived it’s as if someone just came and did a rush job and wiped the toilets. The couch was filthy. this was a horrible experience makes me itch just thinking about it

Enjoyable with a few quirks

1.) The place is exactly as shown in picture, clean with an ample amount of linen. We liked that every bedroom has its own bathroom. 2.) I understand why the owner would not leave the garage door opener with tenants but it is a Definite Inconvenience. You have to open the garage and pull the car out, then go back in through the garage to exit out the front door to ensure it's locked 3.Plumbing: a) The water pressure was low in all sinks/showers b) The water temperature at its best was at "room temperature" c) The sink closest to the closet in the master bathroom randomly makes this loud ass gurgling noise at anytime of the day 4.) This one is more of a personal conplaint: I ask Linda if She could extend our check out time. She called me back stating She could not because She had a new reservation at 12pm. That made me feel undervalued as a tenant/patron. So i have to wait till 4 to check in but the next person can checkin at 12 noon? Not cool!

Great place to stay near downtown

The condo was beautiful and very nice! Lots of space and convenient to get to. Everything was comfortable and nice. The only trouble we had was not enough blankets for the cold and for the air mattress. We bought one and left it there.:) Manny said we could have asked for more linen, but the email I sent before we got there never reached him I think. He was very helpful with questions and making sure there weren’t other problems in every other way during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome home!

This property was amazing! The host Manny was very engaging and welcomed us to their home. The house consists of 3 levels my favorite part of this home was the top level witch was a beautiful roof top view of downtown Houston! The view was just breathtaking! There were all kinds of great warm,welcoming features to this multi level home. The master has this huge tub and a very tall shower. The kitchen area is open to the living room so that you can still interact with family! In the living room there is this wall of mirrors great place for photos! The hot tub was amazing. I could go on and on about this property but you have to see it for yourself! My daughter turned 9 we celebrated her birthday in this beautiful home she and her 9 year old cousin had a blast!

Lovely visit

Wonderful property, great area, quick and responsive property owner. Only complaint is that the third bedroom on the bottom floor has no blinds, so it’s super bright (during the day) and at night the patio door isn’t covered with any curtains so someone could literally being stand outside the door watching you sleep. Let’s just say the third bedroom had no privacy.

The rooftop at night!

No complaints, only suggestions. First, the positive: looks exactly like the pics, very fresh and crisp. The view of downtown from the rooftop (especially at night) is enough to make this a strong recommendation. Security is great, behind a gate, and multiple key pads. All TVs and connectivity worked seamlessly. One thing I didnt see in the listing or other reviews: this development is so new they are literally actively building more units just a few feet away. We stayed over the weekend, but I have to assume that construction sounds would be very active Mon-Friday for the next few months, as the framework looks to just be going up. My only other suggestion would be to have some heavier blankets/comforters around. Im sure the light weight ones they had are great for hot Houston weather, but my chilly wife was searching for more. Also, with the very close proximity to other units and the bright white exterior walls, having black out curtains would go a long way towards both privacy and good sleep. The neighborhood is up and coming, and still in transition—a mix of old industrial buildings , a majority of new townhomes, and some dilapidated original homes, likely waiting for a developer . A few cool spots to walk to, but not necessarily “in the middle of it all”—though the rides to downtown and other areas was close

Amazing group trip

My group and I didn’t have a single problem with our stay. This place is perfect for a group and way more beautiful than the pictures. The property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond. It’s downtown so it’s near all of the activities. Definitely the only place I want to stay at from now on.

Great Eado stay

One of the best VRBOs I've stayed at. Has a great rooftop view of downtown and walking/short uber ride to nightlife and museums. Hot tub and Natural gas grill are a great addition. Great host and very communicative.
