Welcome to your life at the beach! WindanSea Beach that is! Great surf, warm sand located in a fantastic neighborhood environment. Our wonderful and spacious home is perfect for two households or a reunion. The home comfortably sleeps 8 and offers 4 master suites, with one of the suites also having a bunk bed in the room. French doors lead to a relaxing courtyard and a there's a lovely back yard for BBQ'ing. If you are into architecture, the home sits in the famous Barber Tract dotted with homes from the 1920's to 1940's and its fun to stroll the streets. In addition, you are walking distance to Valley Farms Boutique Grocery Store as well as several beach themed restaurants. If you feel ambitious, its a nice 3/4 mile walk into the business district of La Jolla and an easy walk to the Sunday Farmers Market at La Jolla Elementary school. All in all, there isn't a better beach community to be in! Enjoy your stay!

Excellent stay, great location! As advertised, this home was within a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The hosts provided clear and easy to follow check and check out directions and a good summary of nearby beaches and attractions. This home was well set up for our family (myself and my children including married adult children) with comfortable separate spaces for everyone.

Best Location for Wind and Sea Beach

We have been to La Jolla many times on family vacation and this home was our favorite. Its close to town for convenience. Its walking distance to Wind and Sea beach and accomadations are excellent.

The cutest!

We really only slept there as we had family in another house, but this house has the CUTEST things for young children. The two story doll house/bunk bed was a huge hit!!

Nice house, close to beach

Very comfortable and clean house. I would have liked to see a few more amenities, like increased Internet speed, luggage racks , night stands next to the beds, and yard games. Host was very responsive ! Thank you!

Wonderful vacation house

The House is very clean and modern and fit our needs very well. Every bedroom had a big bed and its own bathroom. Beautiful neighborhood with several nice shops and a fancy market within walking distance. Short walk to a very nice beach. The house is spacious. The lot is very small, but there is an extremely comfortable and spacious couch and chairs in a tiny courtyard that made for a wonderful spot for family schmoozing. The host was very pleasant and extremely accommodating,

La Jolla reunion

This is a beautiful home in a part of La Jolla that is quiet, residential and an easy walk to the ocean. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and for our family group of seven adults (3 couples), this was a huge positive. We could have our private spaces in a home that offers many options for communal spaces. The property would be improved by having a coded front door rather than one key. Also, having bedside reading lamps in each bedroom would be welcomed by visitors who read. Only one bedroom had lamps by the bedside.

Wonderful Large Convenient -Great Host

This place was everything I could have hoped for and more. The location was amazing. I short walk to all necessities and the prettiest beach. The home was also so much bigger than the photos make it look. That really goes for every space in the house, indoors and out. My biggest surprise though was how amazing the host Kurt was. He was so hospitable and communicative. He went above and beyond in everything to help with our experience he really was wonderful. I would recommend this spot to any group staying in the San Diego area.

Perfect place to stay for La Jolla wedding weekend.

The house was very well situated and close to the beach. It had plenty of inside room and beautiful outdoor spaces. Kurt helped us with the front door, in spite of multiple PhD’s and engineers….. Very lovely!

Family reunion for the holidays. Plenty of space for our 8 people (teens and adults). Well stocked kitchen and nice living spaces. About 3 blocks to great, quiet beach. Came with beach chairs and towels.

Magnificent

I would give this property 5 more stars if I could. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood, neat, clean, well kept. The beach is just a few steps away and all the conveniences of home are just around the corner - grocery, pharmacy, etc. The property manager went above and beyond. I had some tall guests and he indicated they were getting ready to swap out beds in the house anyway and he accelerated that project in time for our arrival. Everyone was super pleased with it. The master suite is something to behold, Four Seasons quality. The house sets up well for entertainment, open and airy with so much room, guests can move about freely. Appliances are top notch, bathrooms were great and it was so nice having all my guests having their own full bathroom. The outdoor spaces in the yard had a resort feel, very relaxing and quiet. We were thoroughly impressed. It's a great property, great design, a lot of fun. We'll be back!
