10 minutes from Laon, the cottages of La Bergerie, Le Puits and La Forge, located in our small village of 60 inhabitants, await you if you want to:<br>- Feel at home, by the fire, in a country house, with family or friends<br>- Breathe in the scents of the forest and walk there<br>- Discover the cultural heritage of the region.<br>- Visit the champagne cellars of Reims <br>- Spend a day at Centre Parc<br>- A day in Paris<br><br>Our three houses, the Bergerie, the Puits and the Forge, are independent not far from each other. <br><br>The Well:<br>It is ideal for your gatherings of friends and birthdays for up to 23 people in two accommodation in a large garden with a large Intex above ground swimming pool of 7m32x3m56x1m32, a children's play area, a table tennis table and a barbecue<br>It consists of a main house with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms with large reception areas (dining room/kitchen and a large living room) and a guest house with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with also a living room, dining room and kitchen. <br><br>The Sheepfold:<br>It is ideal for families and can accommodate 16 to 20 people with its 6 very spacious bedrooms, including the family suite. <br>You can enjoy its garden, its deckchairs, its private Intex tubular above-ground swimming pool of 7m32x3m56x1m32, its swing frame, the pile of sand, not to mention the barbecue.<br><br>The Forge:<br>It can accommodate 6 to 7 people in its 3 bedrooms and has a 4.78 m/1.24 m intex graphite round above-ground swimming pool in its private garden.<br>It can be rented individually or in conjunction with other accommodation.<br><br><br>2km away, in the village of Crépy, you will find local shops (bakery, pharmacy, mini-market, hairdressers, dentist, doctors, post office).<br><br>10km away, in the city of Laon, you will also find local shops and supermarkets as well as bars and restaurants. <br><br>The cultural heritage of the region is rich with Laon, Coucy le Château, Soissons, Reims, St Quentin.<br>The environment is also very varied with the forest of St Gobain which is classified Natura 2000, <br>Possibility of shooting clayes at the Domaine de St Lambert 2km away.<br>Centre Parc is a 20-minute drive away.<br><br>

Séjour décevant. Les propriétaires sont arrivés 30 minutes en retard, la salle principale n'est pas très bien chauffée enfin, la propriétaire nous demande de payer les frais de meubles cassés avant notre passage. Allez y mais ne soyez pas pressé et prenez des photos lors de votre arrivée.

L’adresse indiquée sur l’annonce était incorrecte. la maison ne ressemble pas aux photos sur l’annonce. Malgré ces changements, notre séjour s'est bien déroulé. La maison était propre.

Presque parfait

Les propriétaires ont plusieurs gîtes dont les noms (Bergerie, Puits, Annexe...) et photos ne sont pas assez clairement distingués dans les liens Abritel ni dans la communication par mail au cours des étapes préalables au séjour. Cela étant dit, nous avons passé 2 jours fort sympathiques dans la maison dite "Le Puits" et son annexe, qui sont confortables et propices à des retrouvailles de groupe dans un cadre très vert et calme. Attention toutefois à la capacité annoncée : si les lits permettent de coucher 14 personnes, la salle à manger est vraiment trop petite pour un tel nombre. Mieux vaut se limiter à 12 si vous voulez être à l'aise pour les repas, surtout en automne/hiver quand tout se passe à l'intérieur (le jardin est de belle taille et doit être très agréable aux beaux jours, surtout avec sa piscine). Sur place, accueil sympathique de la housekeeper et du propriétaire. Équipements complets, avec même quelques livres et jeux de société pour adultes et enfants. Déco simple et chaleureuse, mélange meubles de famille et Ikea. Petites courses possibles à quelques mn de voiture, voire à pieds en mode promenade. Jolie campagne tout autour.

Très chouette séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. La propriété correspond tout à fait à la description... ideale pour un groupe. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et accueillants. Le grand jardin, la piscine, la balançoire que demander de plus pour les enfants 😉

Super week-end entre amis

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans le gîte du puit. La maison est très agréable, au calme absolu, en pleine nature. Les chambres sont grandes, jolies avec chacune leur salle de bains. Tout est impeccable et il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Nous étions 15 et la maison est très grande, et 2 barbecues ce qui était très pratique lorsque l'on est nombreux. La cerise sur le gâteau avec l'immense piscine en été. La communication etait très facile et Elisabeth et Emmannuel sont charmants. Je reviendrai avec un immense plaisir.

Mooi Frans vakantiehuis. Keuken/eetkamer/woonkamer niet heel groot. Mooie grote slaapkamers met douch/wastafel/toilet. Heerlijke grote tuin en zwembad waar we allemaal van genoten hebben groot en klein (4 volw. 8 kids) en een heel mooi uitzicht. Rustig dorpje, mooie omgeving ook om te wandelen.

Belle propriété bien adaptée aux groupes avec enfants

Tout est dans le titre.... On ajoute des propriétaires sympas et conciliants, une modularité des couchages et on obtient un très beau gite pour un we en groupe. A noter qu'une chambre est en enfilade. Nous recommandons grandement ce gite.

Agréable gite

Nous avons eues un weekend super agréable dans Le Gîte du Puits. Toute était là pour notre compagnie de 10 personnes. Beaucoup de charme et beaucoup de place. On aimerait bien le grand jardin avec le vue magnifique au collines forestales et les chambres d'annexe qui sont juste rénovées avec beaucoup de gout et tout le comfort. Les lits sont très bien. La cuisine et la salle a manger sont bien equipée. Le jardin offre ausi une enorme table pour les repas en plaine air et quelques fauteuils relax. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympha. La region offre des balades et villages authentiques.

Prachtige vakantiewoning, ruim, met mooie tuin en privacy, rust en natuur om de hoek

We hebben met onze drie kinderen (7, 10 en 12) een fijne vakantie gehad in La Forge. De woning was netjes, schoon en ruim. De tuin was prachtig, het zwembad schoon. Het dorpje biedt geen vertier maar je zit midden in de natuur, fijn om te wandelen. Binnen kwartier/half uur bereikbaar: leuke stadjes, dierenpark, recreatieplas L'Axoplage. Via station Soissons of Laon ben je zo in Parijs.

un havre de paix pour un très joyeux noël

Nous avons passé un très joyeux noël autour de la grande table de la grange, en famille... Tout est confortable et bien agencé. La nouvelle cuisine dans la grange est fonctionnelle et toute neuve. Nous avons eu l'honneur d'inaugurer le grand piano. La literie est d'excellente qualité. Le poêle à bois permet de bien chauffer la pièce et apporte une ambiance vraiment chaleureuse. Les nombreuses chambres permettent à chacun de trouver un peu d'intimité le soir venu. Les salles de bain, tout aussi nombreuses, permettent à chacun de prendre une bonne douche sans que cela dure des heures... Les gîtes sont situés dans un tout petit village très au calme, les propriétaires sont absolument charmants, et nous tenons à les remercier pour le sapin de Noël qu'ils nous ont installé dans la grange. un pas si grande expérience...

Il y a une bonne cheminée, et la cuisine a tous les ustensiles de cuisine fournis. Mais... les bâtiments autour de la maison sont en ruines, le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionne pas, il y a une fuite dans la salle de bain, certaines ampoules doivent être remplacées. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas quand nous sommes arrivés, mais le propriétaire a fait suite à une solution. Belle région pour la marche !

Merveilleux

Nous avons passé un weekend entre amis à la Bergerie, ce fut merveilleux. La maison est chaleureusement et meublée avec beaucoup de charme. La grande salle à manger et le grand salon étaient parfaits pour se retrouver tous ensemble. La campagne aux alentours est charmante et il y a un certain nombre d'abbayes en ruine à découvrir. Les enfants étaient au paradis entre la balançoire et autres jeux ainsi que les animaux (chevaux, vaches....) se trouvant dans les prés environnant. Encore merci à Elisabeth de nous avoir si bien accueilli, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful, ideal country escape

Everything about our stay here was superb. My husband and I stayed on our own in in this stunning cottage for the first week of our holiday, my husband enjoyed using the pool in the afternoons. We enjoyed going for walks around the local countryside and ventured into many of the nearby towns which were so full of history and beautiful architecture. The second week of our holiday my daughter, her husband and 4 children joined us. All the children had an amazing time and at one point one of my grandchildren told me "being here at the holiday home was better than at Disney". There was plenty for the kids to do, if they were not in the pool, they were on the swing set or playing football. It was lovely to see the variety of wildlife that this small town has to offer we even had a hedgehog visit most nights. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and hopefully we will all return in the near future. Thank you.

Disappointing

The scenery is nice but it is a long way to interesting sights. The owners of the house we rented who lived next to had a dog who constantly entered the garden even though we asked them to keep it out because our daughter was afraid of it. We were looking forward to the pool but it was very small and greasy so we only used it once. The lady who received us was very helpful and found extra toys and made sure that the a broken swing was fixed right away.

Dear Maria I understand your disappointment. We are sorry that you didn't contact us or Johanna by phone for the dog and the swimming pool. We don't live next to the Forge and the neighbourgs with the dog did not understand your request. The guests usually like playing with this very kind dog. The water of the swimming pool can change very quickly with the weather conditions. We were not home when you came and when we came back we thought you were very happy. The dimensions of the swimming pool are correctly indicated in the description but we realize today that in the English version of the website HomeAway the explanatory titles/descriptions of the pictures do not appear (as opposed to the French version). We therefore understand the confusion that arose and your ensuing disappointment due to a mix-up of the pictures on the English version of the website between the Bergerie and the Forge. The swimming pool in the Forge is new and we didn't have time to put pictures on the website because July was very full of work for us. Several guests who came through the French version of the website weren't disappointed by the swimming pool. We chose this size of swimming pool in accordance with the size of the garden. Regarding sightseeing, there are a lot of interesting things to see in our area Tortoir Abbey (5 minutes/car), Premontré (15'), Laon (10'), Coucy le Chateau (25'), WWI battlefields (20'), Center Parks, Guise, Soissons, Reims and the champagne, Compiègne.... The house is especially made to enable resting in the countryside, walk in the woods, discover the pretty villages with all different churches and some with old wineyards.
